Hola! My name is Andrew and I was born in Brighton in the United Kingdom but have been London-based for the past ten years.

I am a traveller, filmmaker, writer and art technician. If I'm not in London, I'm usually hiking in the Peak District or backpacking the world.

I make films work about landscapes and the people who inhabit them. I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy, travelogues and works of fiction.

My grandparents own the family farm in Lancashire, so I've been able to grow up with an appreciation of rural life and the natural landscape across the years, often helping my grandmother with her gardening and my grandfather with DIY projects ranging from painting, woodwork repairs, tree cutting and electric fencing.

In 2020, at the advice and recommendation of a friend, I took part in my first Workaway placement in Norway.

I stayed with a couple in Ulefoss, Norway, for two weeks on their farm small hold. I assisted Maise, the host, with tending to her sheep flock, pigs, chickens, barns, and woodworking for her partner, Terje. It was a wonderful summer and gave me the perfect introduction to Workaway, the basis of which I'm now looking to do another workaway placement in Peru for three weeks.

I'm level-headed, hardworking and enjoying meeting new people and sharing new experiences.

I'm a keen cyclist and hiker, having gone on extensive tours and hikes across the UK and throughout Europe.

I have a Literature degree from King’s College London and a plan to study a Masters Programme in Conservation.

Travelling is my passion and pushing myself to meet new people and learn something new each day.
