I'm a Sr. Science teacher, cook, mom, kind, friendly, adventurous lady looking to take an adult gap year before I'm a grandma and want to be close to home.
Very easy going, adaptable and considerate.
I'm looking forward to getting to see the beautiful world we live in and beautiful kind people, plants and animals who inhabit it. -

Love nature; hiking, kayaking and anything on the water in the summer and skiing in the winter. I'd like to visit all the National Parks in Canada and the USA.
I enjoy gardening, flowers and birding.
I'm an avid reading and like discussing books. An evening playing board games and cards make me happy. I am a light weigh social drinker. I don't smoke or do drugs of any sort.
Enjoy music and dancing.
I'm a knitter and learning how to hook rugs.
A bit of an introvert but am very social and friendly.
Grew up on a farm with IAEA exchange students, from all over the world, living with our family as family. I have a knack for understanding what English language learners are trying to convey even if the words they use are not perfect. -

Kristi was very accomodating and helpful planning my adventures in the area. I helped stack wood, weeded, and cleared out the chicken coop.
Having a vehicle was very helpful to get to and from Gros Morne.
He picked me up at the airport with his wife, took us out for breakfast and set us up in a nice hostel close by. He even had his cousin, Hector, show us how to get back to our place on the bus. … read more
