Hello! I am Jorge, a person with many interests. I am passionate about nature, I enjoy the local flora and fauna. My family is descended from Mayan families, which I am very proud of, I love my culture and enjoy sharing it with others. My family is dedicated to beekeeping, bees have been part of my life for many years.
Eight years ago we started a family project, full of vegetation and wildlife. We offer national and foreign visitors accommodation, tours and restaurant service. The collaboration focuses on carrying out tasks focused on the gardens, care of farm animals, cleaning/maintenance of common areas. Valladolid is a strategic point to reach Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Mérida, Chichén Itzá, Coloradas, river lizards, etc. You can easily find taxis, trucks, collective taxis or you can use the city bus to visit nearby places.

Mi familia es descendiente de familias mayas, de lo cual estoy muy orgulloso, amo mi cultura y disfruto compartirla con otros. Mi familia se dedica a la apicultura, las abejas han sido parte de mi vida desde hace muchos años.
Hace ocho años iniciamos un proyecto familiar, Parque Apícola, este es un espacio natural dedicado a las abejas nativas (Melipona) se encuentra a solo 10 cuadras al sur del centro histórico de Valladolid, te ofrece la oportunidad de estar en un entorno natural, lleno de vegetación y vida silvestre. Ofrecemos a visitantes nacionales y extranjeros hospedaje, tours y servicio de restaurante.
La colaboración se centra en realizar tareas enfocada a atención a huéspedes y limpieza/mantenimiento de áreas para visitantes.
Valladolid es un punto estratégico para llegar a Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Mérida, Chichén Itzá, Coloradas, lagartos de río, etc. Puedes encontrar fácilmente taxis, camiones, taxis colectivos o puedes usar el bus urbano para visitar lugares cercanos.

Alojamiento
The accommodation we offer is a single bed in a mixed dormitory, with shared bathrooms. You'll have a drawer to store your valuables; please bring your own padlock. You can also use the house's facilities: kitchen, dining room, hammocks, Wi-Fi, and pool. A bicycle will be available for you to use; you'll receive it in good condition and must leave it in the same condition for other volunteers.
Please note that the park is surrounded by nature, so the presence of some insects is unavoidable. Please also be aware of the heat typical of this time of year.
One meal is included: lunch. This is provided by the staff. You will be informed of the single meal option for the day, and you are free to accept it or decline.

El alojamiento que ofrecemos es una cama en un dormitorio mixto, cama individual, baños comunitarios. Tendrás una gaveta para guardar tus objetos de valor, trae tu propio candado. También puede hacer uso de las instalaciones de la casa: cocina, comedor, hamacas, WiFi, alberca. Tendrás una bicicleta disponible que recibirás en buen estado, y deberás dejar en las mismas condiciones para otros voluntarios.
Es importante considerar que el parque está rodeado de naturaleza, la presencia de algunos insectos es inevitable. Es importante considerar el calor propio de la temporada.
Una comida incluida, el almuerzo, es parte de la comidad del personal, se te informará la opción única del día, tendrás la libertad de tomarla o no.

It is very important that you keep the house clean. Your private area is limited to your bed and drawer, so your belongings must remain in those places at all times. You must be respectful in your dress and speech at all times. Alcohol, smoking, and the use of prohibited substances are not permitted during your entire stay. No pets allowed. English is essential. No other people are allowed to enter without prior notification.
Volunteers must be responsible for adhering to schedules and obligations without supervision. They must be proactive in completing tasks.
Days off may be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Work hours are in the afternoon or evening.
It is important that you ask any questions you may have about the volunteering process. Avoid arriving unannounced. It is important that you communicate your arrival and departure dates from the beginning.

Es muy importante que se encargue de mantener limpia la casa, su área privada se limita a su cama y gaveta, por lo que sus pertenencias deben estar en todo momento en esos lugares.
