Our Story

We are Ania and Adam, an easy-going Polish couple who have been together for 18 years. We are positive, open-minded, and passionate about travelling, discovering new places, and meeting people from different backgrounds.

We lived in the UK for several years, working in a variety of jobs and gaining valuable experience. Eventually, we returned to Poland to spend time with our families before settling in Warsaw, the country’s capital.

After a while, we felt ready for a change. We wanted to step outside our comfort zone, experience different ways of life, and see more of the world. We embraced a nomadic lifestyle and began an adventure across Asia, travelling through Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India. Along the way, we discovered new cultures, met wonderful people, and created unforgettable memories.

The pandemic temporarily brought our journey to a halt, so we returned to Poland to wait for better times. Later, we continued exploring Europe and volunteered in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, and Spain.

Our dream is to learn about different cultures, meet people from all walks of life, and share meaningful experiences. We believe travelling is about more than visiting new places: it is also an opportunity to learn new skills, help others, and become part of the local community.

A Little About Ania

I studied English Philology and have an artistic soul. I enjoy working with my hands, expressing my creativity, and learning new things. I am not afraid of hard work or taking on completely new challenges.

Over the years, I have worked on farms, as a waitress, a restaurant manager, and a vegan pastry chef. These experiences have taught me a great deal and helped me become adaptable and independent.

In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, and making handicrafts. I am vegetarian and love preparing delicious vegetarian and vegan meals.

A Little About Adam

I graduated from a commercial school and grew up in the countryside, where I learned the value of hard work and practical skills.

After finishing school, I moved to the UK, where I met the love of my life, Ania, who is now my wife. Since then, we have shared many adventures together.

I have experience working in administration, but I am also a practical person who enjoys DIY projects and working with my hands. Growing up in the countryside taught me not to shy away from physical work, and I am always happy to get involved and lend a hand.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, working on DIY projects, and watching movies with Ania.

We look forward to new adventures, fresh challenges, and the opportunity to meet more amazing people along the way!

Ana learned some Spanish at the university but as she had no chance to practice, she forgot a lot. But she would be more than happy to learn it again and improve. She would also love to improve her Russian.

What We Can Offer

- Farm experience: We have both worked on farms and are familiar with the daily tasks involved. We are happy to help with different kinds of farm work and outdoor activities.
- Animal care: We love animals and enjoy spending time with them. Ana is especially fond of cats!
- Practical skills: We are handy, enjoy working with our hands, and are always ready to help with repairs, DIY projects, gardening, and other practical tasks.
- Organisation and management: We both have office experience, so we are comfortable with organising tasks, taking responsibility, and helping things run smoothly.
- Teamwork: We enjoy meeting new people, working as part of a team, and contributing to a friendly atmosphere.
- Driving: We both hold international driving permits.
- Adaptability: We learn quickly, adapt easily to new environments, and are always willing to try new things and develop new skills.
- Cleanliness and tidiness: We appreciate a clean, tidy, and well-organised environment and are happy to help keep shared spaces clean.
- Reliability and time management: We are hardworking, organised, and efficient. We take our responsibilities seriously, manage our time well, and do our best to complete every task properly.

We are open-minded, flexible, and happy to lend a hand wherever we are needed. We believe in mutual respect, clear communication, and making our stay a positive experience for both our hosts and ourselves.

A little bit about us

Adam enjoys playing board games such as chess, checkers, and Monopoly. He is also a skilled handyman who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He can operate agricultural machinery and loves riding his motorbike.

Ana loves spending time on creative projects, including sewing, knitting, embroidery, painting, mehendi, and carpentry. She enjoys making things with her hands and is always happy to try something new. She is also a passionate cook, specialising in vegetarian and vegan cuisine, and has experience working as a vegan pastry chef. She loves preparing delicious plant-based meals and experimenting with new recipes.
