We rely on donations and public support. We have rehomed over 2000 dogs in the 10 years and plan to do so much more. We have 20 dogs at the new site but will be increasing to 80 as we do up the rest. 40 dogs at our original site (30 mins drive away).
Now is a very exciting time. We have opened our second site (40 acres including a disused reservoir). We are in need of extra hands to help with the dogs and more. It's peaceful, isolating, rewarding, hard work and in all weathers.
We work 365 days, all day and on call overnight without a break. We are a tiny team of honest driven individuals. We have a few farm animals too and it's a meat free site (bar the dog food obvs).
If you want to be part of making the difference and making dogs lives' better please get in touch and tell us what you can bring to the team. Due to the kennel free nature of the rescue we would need volunteers to have experience with dogs, and it's a must to feel confident being around all types of dogs, breeds, sizes and personalities. We have those who are some of the most nervous and damaged dogs but they are all in rehabilitation.
Looking for honest, hard working, dedicated, mature people who are in it for the right reasons. Unfortunately we can't accept periods of less than 1 month due to the nature of the rescue and needing to introduce any new people slowly to the dogs to make this work.
It is important to note that we are in a reasonably rural location, but only 5 minutes from local shops.
The accommodation is a static caravan - small but tidy and shared with a couple of resident dogs.
We are just about to embark on phase 2 this summer (late summer) so to have DIY skills would be a benefit.4Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

We are the first free running shelter trying to revolutionise the way the UK runs their dogs homes. We are pioneering a new way to rescue. We are community focused and take dogs to offices etc to increase morale and try and encourage people to adopt not shop. We are changing the face of rescue dogs and trying to do away with the stigma they have in the UK. We save dogs from all around the world. We are vegans and use all our rescued animals from the meat trade to attempt to bring some awareness to visitors who wouldn't ordinarily have ever walked a pig or stroked a turkey.

We run a kennel free dog rescue with a handful of farm animals. We need help with cleaning, mucking out, walking dogs, training dogs, dealing with visitors, cleaning, DIY, maintenance, did I mention cleaning?
