We are a family of 4: Gerhard (father), Susanne (mother), Wenzel and Emilie (twins aged 15,5). We have a shop with gifts and regional products, garden furnitures and living accessoires. We also host art and music events. We live and work in an old farmhouse with animals.

Experience the daily life of an Austrian crazy family. We can give you a gateway into the Austrian culture, for example teach you to cook regional dishes. We enjoy good talks about life and everything in between. We will welcome you into our special way of living. If you want an adventure, join us!

The most important task is give impression about your culture and country , communicate with people in our shop..be part of our family. We appreciate people with a positive attitude to work and living. The daily tasks will consist of helping in the household (cooking etc.), helping with the animals and in the garden and sometimes we have building site.

You will have your own room with own bathroom and shower. The place is 50 min. away from the City of Vienna and it's possible to go there by public transport. Our house is in the countryside( 50 min away from Vienna) so you need to like this way of living.

Tim stayed for 2 weeks in our house .He made gardening projects . He also worked in our shop, friendly with the costumers, dishwashing, cleaning works. Specially with our children he made culture exchange and sports and teaching english. A very friendly (pleasant , polite , very interested in european history ) young man... we had a great time .

I stayed at the Flockerlhof for two weeks as my first workaway and it was a highlight of my overseas travel. I had a great workaway experience here! Just like everyone else said, they quickly just let me be a part of the family, and I spent almost every waking second playing with their two kids, which was so much fun.

I absolutely loved staying in Klement! This was my best Workaway experience, a true cultural exchange. They taught me some German and showed me how to cook Eastern European food. I did not feel like a workawayer more a part of the family; and what a wonderful family too, Some of the nicest people I have ever met.
