  We are a family consisting of a husband, wife and 4 children and we live in a large country house on the hills adjacent to Bologna. We have a large garden and even some chickens that lay excellent fresh eggs!
  We are an enterprising family and we always want to do many things, go around and have fun.
  The hills where we live are very beautiful, planted with vineyards and sunflowers in the summer. Bologna is a beautiful and hospitable city, full of young and international people thanks also to the almost millenary University. It is undoubtedly one of the urban pearls of Italy and is often associated with Paris for its liveliness and richness of all kinds of cultural initiatives and offers.
  From our home, the city center is only 20 minutes by train / metro or a quarter of an hour by car / scooter.
  Parents are divided between work commitments and housework and the children attend school which is only a few minutes from home. Older children play sports on certain afternoons of the week. The weekend is dedicated to housework, the garden to visit friends and of course to rest.

  Bologna is a city that does not need to be presented as it is well known internationally. Seat of the oldest university in the world, Bologna knows how to combine culture and knowledge, conviviality and good food, traditions and a mentality that is always open to the future in perfect harmony. An innovative metropolis with a medieval heart among the best preserved: 40 km of arcades, museums, theaters, cinemas, over 200 libraries, clubs and restaurants and a lively social and nightlife.
  During our free time we love to organize dinners with friends, play sports, take care of the house and the garden, go skiing in the winter and go to the sea in the summer (the sea is only an hour away by car). Read, chat, rest, visit the cities of art.
  There is nothing particular to report, except that we are a family of serious people with deep values of ethics and fairness. It is essential that the traveller has the same characteristics.
  We are not vegetarians and, on the contrary, we love good Italian cuisine and in particular the Emilian cuisine famous all over the world but we would have no difficulty in hosting people with different eating habits.
  We have no particular rules regarding covid 19 except those of common sense as we are very calm and in no way scared about this virus. We will not ask the traveller if she is vaccinated or if he/she has a green pass.

  In general, the traveller will be required to support mainly in the afternoon, from the time the children are collected from school (14 - 15), until dinner time (19 approximately) during the week.
  From the little kids, who need to be supported for an afternoon snack, play, shower, etc., to the older ones, who need to be followed to do their homework for the next day. It is necessary for the traveller to be able to make their presence and safety felt in order to be able to earn the esteem and great affection these children are capable of, but also respect.
  Although, in general, the traveller is asked to offer their time mainly to children, the commitment on housework that is required of the traveller (in addition of course to the care of their spaces), must be offered in such a way as to fill the time that is dedicated to family and home.
  The traveller's ability to recognize the needs of the house and family and offer their support in carrying out daily activities will be useful, for example: tidying up, a snack, preparing dinner, a quick washing machine, a sweep, preparing school materials and all the small daily actions necessary for the good running of a house.
  The adult in the house - in general the mother - will in any case be practically always present.

  The traveller will have a personal room with a large bed and will have their own bathroom. The area of the house where the traveller will sleep is slightly separated from the rest of the bedrooms so that the traveller can enjoy her own privacy.
