Staying with Lorenzo, Reika, Viola and Anita was absolutely amazing! The family were incredibly welcoming, took me in as a member of their family and were all very kind. Emma became a part of the family straight after arriving to our house! She was always happy to spend time with us, helping with cooking and showing her natural attitude to look after the kids, playing games with them and teaching them new english words.

It is hard do describe how polite, nice, likable this young woman is, always happy to help with a smile and naturally enjoying whatever she was doing, far from the negative stereotype of new generations, addicted to technology and disconnected from reality. Me and my wife will definitely keep her as a great example of growth for our daughters.
We wish her all the best for her future, and we are sure we will have the chance to meet again!

I truly can’t say enough great things about my time in Italy with this family. I had such an incredible month with Lorenzo, Reika, Viola, and Anita! From the moment I got in touch with Lorenzo, he was very efficient in communicating to help organize my arrival. I immediately felt welcomed in as a part of their family. … read more time with the girls, they both radiated such positive energy. Whether we were doing homework, spending time outside, practicing English, walking to the park, or playing a game, our time together was filled with endless smiles and laughs.
Not only did I feel like a part of the immediate family, but I was also welcomed in by their friends and extended family. We shared meals with their siblings, grandparents, and aunt a couple times a week. I don’t know much Italian which made communicating with their friends and family difficult, but I was always treated with so much kindness and served the most amazing food.
The accommodation was truly amazing; some days felt more like a holiday than a work experience. I had more than everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I had plenty of time to explore their area and went for many beautiful walks and runs. On my days off, they would help me coordinate train times and had great recommendations for surrounding cities to explore. Lorenzo and Reika kept their house stocked with the best fresh produce and constantly checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. I spent three weeks with Lorenzo, Rejka, Viola and Anita this past September. From the very start they all made me feel so welcome and helped me to seamlessly integrate into their daily routine, as well as create my own space in their beautiful home. In my free time I was able to go for runs with stunning views and even attend one of Rejka's yoga
… read more classes. I absolutely loved chatting with Lorenzo and Rejka and learned so much about Italian culture, language, and food! Viola and Anita were so much fun and both improved their English so much, as well as helped me work to improve my Italian! Their energy and laughter was contagious and I enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was homework time or play time! … read more enthusiasm every family activity, always happy to help when she could. Our girls totally loved her, and enjoyed the time spent with her.
We like hosting travelers because we believe we can have a lot in exchange, and it’is not about baby-sitting, it is above all being enriched by what new people can share with us: experiences, stories, thoughts, ways of seeing life, enthusiasm and expectations. And with Ren we received loads of this. She is a special person who has a lot to give, and we are sure she will be successful in whatever she will do.
At the end of her stay we were all sad about her leaving, but sure we will meet again, and looking forward to that.Comentarios

From the very first moment they have all made me feel like at home (Lorenzo, Rejka, Anita,Viola), including 4 - legged cutie - Pulche. We are all outdoor lovers so whenever we could we have spent time in the bossom of nature i.e cycling, swimming, wandering around, having meals in their beautiful garden etc. Anita and Viola - two little cheaky
… read more monkeys were best companions during playing different english games, drawing, swimming, fooling around, not forgetting about how helpful they were when it comes to cooking! After some time of listening English for few hours a day when I was talking to Lorenzo or Rejka they have started to use some English expressions, often by combinig them with Italian, e.g molto very tasty – which I think is a great beginning!
Except spending time with those two, I often used to attend Rejka's yoga classes, either in the yoga studio or on their stunning, wooden terrace overlooking the picturesque village of Arqua Petrarca- charming place with plenty of things to do around, especially for nature lovers.
Staying with them was my first WA experience, which to be honest couldn't be better. Not only did they meet all my expectations based on their WA profile, I truly felt like a member of their family for this 1,5 month. Having a chance to meet most of their friends as well as all members of close family made this experience even more unique. Don’t want to repeat myself, however I have to admit that each and every one of them did their best to make me feel like at home.
At some point of this fairy tale, I was unlucky and I have broken my hand. As it turned out, the injury was pretty serious and I had to undergo a surgery. To be honest, it wasn’t an easy time, as I was away from my hometown and family. However, with such people beside there is no problem that cannot be solved, no tear that cannot become a smile. Forever and a day grateful!
Long story short, unforgettable time with kind-hearted family in a picteresque village surrounded by Euganian Hills, what more can you ask for?
P.S. I have learnt and appreciated cooking without tons of garlic and onion everywhere, which I consider a big innovation in my life.
