Descripción
We do cultural and historic tours, in-depth travel in Keelung, a kind of a sustainable tourism to help our city develops and build awareness, making more people come here for trying a real taste of Taiwanese culture where is just 30 mins away from central Taipei.
Besides, we record the oral history to safeguard the intangible cultural heritage of the city, collaborate with several local community development association, curating and executing historic exhibition, events and online publications for public.

Options for different background of workawayers:

1)Article writing, editing or photography or video shooting on exploring unique stories in Keelung City and northeast coast. This will be post on blog section of our website, youtube, or official instagram account. Share your experience on blog or social media by attending our experience.

2)IT/SEO/design related, help optimize the website visibility and refine it's overall look and feel.

3)Any new ideas to help our org grow is highly welcomed.

Weekly Routine:
1)Assisting in execution of tour, help preparing headset device, 0-3 times per week.Our tour is 5 star rated in tripadvisor, we are sure it’s extra benefit to stay with us.
2)Assisting on the reception of visiting helpers/workawayers per week, general maintenance of the house.

The rest of the time is yours and you're welcome to do whatever you like.

Plz kindly tell us about yourself, like skills, interest, equipped devices like laptop etc, and what makes you want to apply.

Workawayer who is able to work independently, self-disciplined, able to achieve the goal timely as discussed/promised, enjoy to immerse in local culture are highly welcomed to apply! The working space is in the living room.

Having Line(Instant Communication APP) account and trello registered will be needed for joining our group and day to day communication.

Alojamiento
It’s an old apartment near the traditional market and keelung port and river, downstairs are buses to Taipei city hall MRT station and takes only 35 mins, where locates many grocery store, that you can get fresh fruit and vegetables from Taiwanese aunties. Also locates one bakery ,hair salon, restaurants, local famous dessert store, 3 breakfast stores and one supermarket, KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut any thing you need in 1 mins walk.

We offer private room for each helper and couple. No daily meals included.

The house is at 2nd floor, one kitchen , two suite, 3 bedroom. With facilities, such as refrigerator, microwave, air-con, washing machine, etc.

It's so close to bus stop where can access to main train station and downtown quickly, the apartment is in the good location of public transportation to Taipei and Keelung downtown(train station), bus to TP is 40 mins from Keelung to city hall MRT station, walking to miao-kou night market is 15 min, so you don't have to drive motorcycle or car to go around.

Keelung city is not like Taipei - a metropolitan one where lives many foreigners, 40 mins from Taipei, there are many famous touristic spots around Keelung, east of KL is a mountain village Jiufen, west of KL is famous rock coast Yehliu, southeast is Pinghsi. We are sure that you will find many enjoyment within this city and its around.
