Descripción
We are an older couple with many interests and love meeting new people of all ages. We have travelled extensively ourselves and like to learn and to teach. We need a bit of help with gardening and general maintenance on our 1 1/2 acre section in the hills of the Hutt Valley
. We have children and grand children in the area.

We love to share our vast knowledge of the NZ way of life, and can talk on many subjects, and we enjoy going to the beach, or the bush, we are less than an hour from Wellington by train , a wonderful and easy city to visit and explore.

Nothing too onerous, i am a keen gardener, the man of the house likes to potter and needs some help with firewood and a bit of concreting. No special skills required but a happy willing disposition would be appreciated.

A charming and roomy self contained sleep-out. We like to share our table and i am a good cook, but visitors could be self sufficient if they wanted to be.

Visitors are close to the rail line and bus routes to Wellington, Upper and Lower Hutt cities, we are happy to drop off or pick up from the station if necessary but it is only a 25 min walk . Other visitors have found getting to Wellington easy and it is a fun city to visit and explore.

Florian was with us for a week and he was excellent. We have a fairly large garden and he was very willing to help on all aspects ...cutting,trimming, hauling, digging. . It was also a pleasure to have him stay with us as he was veryhelpful with everyday household chores

Sandra and Neil are a lovely couple.
I had a beautiful stay with them and the food was delicious too. I had everything what I needed and they made me feel very comfortable.

Jessie was wonderful. She was so very easy to have with us and I could not have had a more obliging, cheerful , young woman. .I would highly recommend Jessie. We have a big section and she was so very able to work by herself with minimal supervision , which she did.

Isabelle was just wonderful. She was warm, friendly and extremely able and worked hard and competently in my garden. We so enjoyed her company . She would be an asset to any one and although Isabelle only worked in my garden as the weather was good I know she would be equally able with indoor work.

We have had a wonderful experience with Sue and Steve. They are excellent workers with a good knowledge of gardening,(Sue) and great building and DIY skills (Steve) . Jesse and Lukas stayed with us for nearly 2 weeks and we enjoyed having them . They are very pleasant and nice young men and worked well at any tasks assigned to them . They are enjoying their travels and liked going off on walks to explore our area in their time here.
