  Salut! We are a French-German family in the countryside in the Beaujolais, very close to Lyon. We have two daughters and speak German, French and English. We live in a house with a small guest house, an old pizzeria and pool. You have a room in the guest house with private bathroom and separate entrance.  We travelled a lot and since we are parents we always wanted to welcome the world in our home. We think that we can offer you a very open and international house and a real countryside experience that will give you a lot of positive energy and hopefully an experience that stays with you for a long time.

  Our Village is in the pure countryside and a known wine area. You can explore the countryside of France. The Beaujolais is a wine growing area and you can learn a lot about wine growing and drink good regional wine. In the summer there are always small village festivals and it is also wonderful for hiking or biking. We think the Beaujolais is beautiful and it is interesting to discover the people, the wine and nature. Every village around us is different and beautiful . Our family and backgrounds are very international. We lived in many different places. We explored many cultures and we are happy to share our mix of german-french-vietnamese culture in our house.

  Ayuda

  We bought our house in the wine region of Beaujolais last year. We now want to renovate or rebuild the house and the guest house piece by piece. The garden also needs to be maintained and partly replanted. For example, we have a large area for growing vegetables that we need to cultivate. For these areas we would need support from workawayers. We are looking for people who are handy and have a desire to do renovation work (painting, sanding, dismantling and setting up). Or, who have experience in gardening or want to learn something new. The most important thing for us is the interest to learn something new and have a good time together.

  Alojamiento

  We live in Quiencie en Beaujolais. This is a small wine village with a bakery, butcher, small supermarket, hairdresser, post office. Nearby (10km) is Belleville, a small French town. From there you can reach Lyon in 30 min by train. Also very close is Villefranche. Also a nice small town with great shopping possibilities. Our house is in the middle of wineyard and really quiet. We have a pool and pizza oven to have a great evening. We can lend you a bike to go easy to the village center and discover the region. Our house is quite big and we have extra guest rooms (4x 15/20 m²) with a private bath (shower) and internet (wlan). During the week we get up very early to bring the kids to school at 8 am. So you are able to join at 8 am to make yourself breakfast. Lunch during the week is up to you and dinner we do together just like a family. We share our food with you just like a family and take care of the preparation and cleaning together.

  For us it is important to give you a good experience but also to get help with our project. It is a nice concept of giving and getting that we believe in. We think it is important to understand everyone's expectations to have a real good and respectful time together.

  You can work in your private room or in our big pizza room, that is close to where we work in the house... but this is all still moving because of us renewing the house.
