We are a creative husband and wife team, accompanied by our animal friends Eva the cat and Thor the dog. Our passions include music, art, and a deep love for nature.
About Us: Edgar is a musician who is currently on the road to recovery from cancer, gaining strength every day. Vanisa is an artist and massage therapist.
We enjoy sharing our enthusiasm for nature, animals, arts, music, cooking, and martial arts. We believe in mutual learning and cultural exchange, and we are eager to learn from you as well.
What We Offer:
Language Exchange: Practice your English, Spanish, Dutch, German, and basic French.
Learning Opportunities: Exchange knowledge about massage, arts and craft, music, and martial arts.
Tranquil Environment: Our land is full of peaceful spots where you can disconnect from the modern world and reconnect with nature. Enjoy our hand-built pond teeming with life, or relax in the birchbark forest surrounded by an orchestra of singing birds.
Location: We are located in a serene area close to the picturesque, whitewashed village of Mijas, just 6 minutes away by bus. The beach is also conveniently 7 minutes by bus. With a bus stop at the top of our road, public transport is easily accessible. If you have a car, the beach and main town are only 5 minutes away, or a 40-minute walk. The main city, Malaga, is 39 minutes by car and 1 hour by train.
We are fortunate to enjoy the best of both worlds, living in an urban location with a natural and green landscape.
Who We're Looking For: We are looking for experienced, motivated, and independent individuals who are eager to engage in cultural exchange and contribute to our community.

We are creating a vegetable and fruit garden and would love your help with this. We are also looking for help to finish off the outside toilet/bathroom and shower area in a creative and free-spirited way. Additionally, we have various creative projects that you can contribute to.
Part of our land is covered in a mini forest. This magical spot has lots of shade and different areas among the trees. There's a central part with a wooden floor perfect for yoga, relaxing, dancing, and other activities. We would love to revive this area and bring life back to it.

Alojamiento
- We offer a renovated van which sleeps two people. Large tent with bedding, rustic toilet, shower, and kitchen area.
- We have many charming and safe areas to park your camper van/mobile home on our private plot.
- You can use as much water as you need.
- You will have electricity to charge your personal devices.
- We welcome helpers with a self-contained camper van.
- We do not offer food, but will have reduced working hours of 3 hours per day.

We are located in the Mijas countryside, nestled in the hills of Andalusia. Only a bus ride from its charming white-washed buildings and stunning views, Mijas offers a unique cultural experience. You can explore the cobblestone streets, visit the historic chapel, and enjoy the local shops and restaurants.
In your free time, you can:
Visit Mijas Pueblo, known for its picturesque streets and lovely views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Relax on the nearby beaches of Fuengirola, just a short drive away, where you can swim, sunbathe, and enjoy water sports.
Hike in the surrounding mountains and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
Take a day trip to Málaga, a vibrant city with rich history, museums, and a bustling port.
Enjoy the local cuisine and tapas at various restaurants and bars in the area.
Transport:
There are regular bus services from Mijas to nearby towns and cities, including Fuengirola and Málaga.
If you have your own transportation, it's even easier to explore the region and make the most of your stay.
