Good knowledge with Horse/ Pony care and to be able to walk an energetic retired. pony in hand and lunge him.
Last minute availability as soon as possible , present Workaway has changed her plans.
Availability from 18th June to the last week in August.
I am looking for a quiet person who would enjoy the countryside and peacefulness , the nice weather, the animals , relaxing by the pool.or wandering to the typical small Spanish village.
, I need help looking after my retired pony, my 2 dogs and 4 cats.
I need someone with horse/ Pony experience as once a month I need to go to the UK for a week and the Pony has a strong character!
As well as the usual poop picking, and stable cleaning.
There is feeding grooming walking and trotting in hand and lunging.
The cats and dogs need feeding and grooming and of course all need a lot of love and attention.
There are fish in the fishpond that need feeding and the wild chickens from the countryside pop in to say hello.
A gardener comes to maintain the trees and the pool robot cleans the pool.
I need help with light gardening , brushing leaves, pulling up weeds etc.
When I’m in the UK it’s just caring for the animals.
It is very peaceful and quiet here, but it is not an isolated farm in the middle of nowhere, the house is in a Semi rural area on a road.
I am looking for a responsible, independent, energetic, motivated person, with a good sense of humour who enjoys caring for animals and l keeping the c stable area clean and organised.
I have full time lodgers who rent rooms in the main house and who are out to work during the day but in the evenings or weekends there are people around to enjoy conversations and their company.
The accommodation is a caravan with Kitchen area, toilet shower/ cubicle, hot water, integral heating.
The kitchen in the main house is used for preparing meals and their is also a private bathroom with a shower in the main house for you to use.
The caravan has its own garden area, for you to have your own space and independence, but the main gardens and pool and outside kitchen are also for you to use.
The caravan garden needs some work to make it tidy, so people who enjoy a bit of gardening would enjoy this project.
There is a bicycle to go to the village, which takes about 10 minutes, or to explore the area. There is a bus stop at the end of the road (700m ) to go to the city of Palma which the bus takes 20 minutes to get there. The caravan garden area is in the middle of a make over and it would be great to continue with this.
The oranges and grapefruit are ready on the trees at December and it’s great to make fresh juice for breakfast. The Lemons are ready March time. There are herbs growing in the garden , sage, rosemary, thyme, chives and lots of Aloe Vera plants.
The village has an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops, banks, typical of a small Spanish village.

The village is a typical traditional Spanish village where you will be able to practise your Spanish. The locals love to help!
There are the traditional fiestas and celebrations of Mallorca in the plaza and a small market.
Spanish language practice if required at home or alternatively I am a iTEFL teacher.

Kat and Luke were such big helps and jumped to the rescue on many occasions!
Luke was AMAZING finding his way around the island and many times heading off with his sat nav or google map, to find places that we needed to go and heading off practising his Spanish to the locals on shopping trips!
