We arrived at Asa and Alan's late and she had prepared a lovely dinner. We were immediately made to feel so welcome, shown our room which was en suite and comfortable. Asa had definate plans for the tasks we were to do which was good as so many hosts don't. She also said if either party wasn't happy we need to make this clear which we found very

Thankfully we loved it and all worked well together, so much fun, working, eating, drinking, film nights in front of the wonderful fire.We learned a lot about they're life in France and the culture they are familiar with. We were treated like friends and left knowing we'd love to go back if invited. Thankyou both❤️

David stayed for 2 weeks helping with so much in house and garden, can’t thank him enough!
We asked David to come back to house sit and again did much more then expected
Stayed for weeks both my husband and I was delighted 😀 I don’t think there is anything David can’t do!
We have invited David to come back in the autumn !

Mario and his friend came to stay n my villa as house sitters, but stayed on as I had problems coming back to the villa from the UK. It was very kind of them and when I returned Mario stayed with me for several weeks helping out in the villa.
Mario is very charming and so helpful always smiling and it was a pleasure to host him.

David came to stay and help out for just 10 days. What he achieved in the time in just amazing! He can take to task anything , with us he removed and replace broken tiles on our roof and cleaned the entire roof from years of growth and rubble and cut over 20 huge branches of our pine tree that overhanged the roof! What an amazing workaway experience. Asa took me in at the last moment She was very kind, easy going, and friendly. What can I say, I was originally suppose to only stay for two weeks and I ended up staying a little over 4 months! Asa is an amazing host and now an even more wonderful and close friend! I was able to not only meet her family and friends, but also get to know them, bond with them and they have now, like her, become part of my world :-) During my stay, I did everything from pet/house sitting, built a website for her villa, helped her establish social media accounts, some small gardening and domestic work. She also taught me how to cook some simple, yet delicious and impressive meals, besides showing me the local area and giving me tips on where to go, etc. I have learned and shared so much with Asa, that I can say without a doubt, it has enriched my life! I feel like I now have another home with a wonderful family in the South of France. This has been an experience that has had a lasting impression in my life and I'm looking forward to returning soon! I miss her, her family and 4-legged friends already.
For those looking to do an exchange at the villa, know that there's a lot of work to do at the villa, but you will get out of it exactly what you put in it, if not more. If you are independent, a self-starter, hard-worker, take initiative, listen and communicate well, you will have an awesome experience! Asa expects a lot from her helpers, in the form of quality, organized work. She likes people with initiative. In return she is generous with her willingness to help you out of a fix. Asa the deserves the best from her helpers, so if you are a slacker, please don't apply.
