Mitch and Zara were a pleasure to have around. They stayed for 2 months in the farm and by the end it was hard to say goodbye..
We worked out a deal that worked for us all. Mitch was helping out on the farm whilst Zara did some external work and earned some money.

Mitch was eager to learn and so passionate about living on the land and developing the skills he had to help us in our quinta.
We shared lots of meals and friends together, they felt part of the group and part of Tassie.
2 months went by super fast and we wish they could stay even longer. We are so excited to see where their dreams take them.
We can't recommend enough their great company and energy they can bring to a place.

Staying with Jo and Daniel was such a pleasure! We had so much fun together and the work was very chill. I did some painting, cooking, and landscaping so varied tasks was nice. Both of them typically work during the day so work was independent which was cool since I could wake up on my own time and I had the house to myself with a massive speaker.

I was taken to 5v5 football once a week if I wanted and got to meet alot of their friends and neighbors so the sense of community is strong. The property itself is gorgeous and the accomidation is super cozy, a big room and bed to myself. I recomend this to anyone who likes to joke/connect with their hosts, do independent tasks well, and likes a rural setting. Thandi is a very energetic and positive young person, we were lucky to have her stay with us for a couple of weeks.
She has a great attitude towards life and work - no job was too complicated she would always figure out what to do or ask questions when she didn't know.

Hugo and Manon are the happiest couple ever, they were always together laughing away and making jokes with each other.
It was a pleasure to host such happy and joyful people. From day 1 they were keen to learn and explore their abilities on the farm, they always did their best to do the job well and succeeded. Lots of weeding tasks and garlic
… read more harvest - it was never too much for them to have extra work. They helped in the kitchen with cleaning and cooking and kept our animals fed everyday.
H&M joined us on anything we did, they were open to trying new things and always ready for a good chat.
In the end they felt like friends to us and that's what we wanted. I would recommend H & M to any host as they are a delight to have around. Come back anytime.

Our experience with Jack was great.
Besides his lack of experience with farm work, Jack gave it a good go, he tackled the blackberry bushes with all his strength ;).

On her spare time she would make art projects she has a special way and everywhere she touched she left a mark. Its amazing to have someone in your place doing and creating so much positive soul and vibes.
She baked bread, made dinner, made "rabanadas" and we all enjoyed it so much.
I recommend her 100%, she has the best intentions and wont disappoint. She is very honest and transparent with a huge heart full of love to give hugs and kisses to everyone.
We had 2 weeks in our little paradise with Greta (and Lucie) it was intense and we lived it the best we could. Lots of laughs and some tears of joy (of course), many deep conversation sharing stories.

The jobs they need to be done are really easy: fix some fences, feed the animals and take care of the veggie garden and baby trees around, help cooking and cleaning, very easy work indeed.
They were Workawayers aswell so they know really well how to be a great host and the needs of the volunteers, you cannot be in better hands. They will help in anything they can and this is a blessing! Their place is so beautiful too, you can meet Flappy the platypus or go walk up the hill until the lovely creek down, they live in a peaceful place surrounded by nature.
Was really nice to see how they improved their house with a new fire oven for winter, when Daniel builds seems like everything is simple and easy, he is an amazing man. The love of Joana towards the chickens and turkeys is admirable, the animals loves her so much and they are so tame and cute! I love her smile and laugh aswell, as she is from Portugal and I am from Spain was really nice to share the fire from our cultures. And I love all the support and laughs we shared, playing cards in the night with delicious chai.
Was amazing to go with them and meet their friends and also being able to share a beautiful hike in the Snowy South. They are really fit and always ready for new adventures whenever they have time. I had also the great pleasure to work and share great moments with the lovely Lucie, from Chec Republic, I am so blessed to have new sisters and brothers!
The best veggies I ever ate are from their garden, you can taste the love they received and the meals we share are the top ones I ever had, Daniel makes his own beer aswell, I was also baking bread, all homemade tastes better...my goodness I can't explain in words how precious are this moments to me: sharing the best food and drinks with the best people I could find in Tassie, with the best sunsets 🤗
I know how lucky I am to had the opportunity to work with them and I wish their project grows and gets bigger and better, I will visit them whenever I will have the chance, in quality of a friend.
I will carry in my heart and soul the memories of my short time with them and I hope they will fulfill all their dreams as they are working really hard and deserve it.

… read more lot of beautiful land to explore, and both a dam and a creek to swim in. There were always fresh berries to pick while I was there, which were absolutely delicious. There are also lots of animals in the farm, from sheep, chicken and turkeys, to ducks and platypus in the dam, and loads of wallabies across the land. There will often be a list of tasks to be completed but new ideas and projects are always welcome. They will usually arrive back sometime in the evening, and they were always so full of energy, they would immediately start working in one job or another at the farm. At night Daniel would usually cook a delicious meal and we would all eat together, chatting and playing cards. During the weekends, Joana and Daniel often make plans with friends, either to go to the city or to go for an adventure somewhere else. I was always welcome to join them, and I had a great time meeting their friends and spending time with them. I will definitely be coming back here in the future, to catch up and to see how this great life project they have in the farm is going.
