  Hi! We are Stef and Erica a married couple who have a daughter, Maya, who is three years old. We live on the beautiful Bowen Island, which is only a 20 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver. We also have a goldendoodle named Elsie.

  Bowen island is a unique place which is close to nature while also being not too far from a city. We’re lucky to be able to melt into the forest, and walk along the seashore. We’re happy to take you walks to see the ocean, and to talk about our careers in ecology and sustainability.

  Ayuda

  We are looking for a warm, calm and caring person who can provide care for Maya while we are working. The schedule is somewhat flexible, but would usually be later in the afternoon with Maya, and you would have the mornings to explore the island and pursue your projects. Maya likes to be active and explore the house and the outdoors. She picks flowers, pokes sticks and loves to show you everything she finds! We love supporting Maya with our calm presence and a safe base from which to explore, and we would love to teach her about different countries, different songs, and different games from other places in the world. We are looking for someone who can stay for a few months :)

  Alojamiento

  We can offer a private space for you to live. It’s attached to our home, but separate from the main living space, and has everything you need, you only need your suitcase! We usually rent out this space and it’s quite popular, but we are happy to offer it to the person caring for Maya.

  We are open to a couple visiting if the fit is right. We are looking for Maya’s caregiver to have some previous experience with children under 3yrs old.
