  Welcome to our film and drama volunteer program !
  We are a registered not for profit film and drama project. It is located in Mbale, Uganda.
  Our mission is to promote creativity, promote expression and create opportunities for young people to tell their stories through influencing positive change using film and drama.
  
  OUR WORK
  
  We work on a variety of film and drama projects which include; short films, web series,scriptwriting & story development, and creating short online videos, Video Editing & Post-Production, Graphic Design & Visual Arts ,Social Media & Online Promotion, Research & Content Writing ,Fundraising & Partnerships,
  Voice Acting & Online Acting
  
  WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR;
  
  As a film project we are looking for volunteers who love filming and drama, volunteers who love to write about stories that later can turn into movies, we are looking for volunteers who know how to edit videos and shoot videos as well as teaching them.
  Finally we are looking for volunteers who love art at heart.
  
  NOTE : No professional experience is required but some knowledge in film making, video editing, script writing is needed.
  
  YOUR ROLE AS A VOLUNTEER;
  
  (1). Help with Video Editing & Post-Production
  
  • Edit film clips, trailers, or social media videos.
  
  • Add subtitles, background music, and visual effects.
  
  • Help design intros and outros for our online productions.
  
  (2). Assist with camera, lighting, sound and editing
  
  
  (3). Help with Scriptwriting & Story Development
  
  •Help write short film scripts, skits, or drama pieces.
  
  •Brainstorm new story ideas based on real-life issues or inspiring themes.
  
  •Edit or review existing scripts to improve flow, dialogue, and creativity.
  
  (4). Help with Social Media & Online Promotion
  
  •Manage our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
  
  •Create and schedule posts to promote our work and upcoming projects.
  
  •Engage with followers, answer comments, and share volunteer stories.
  
  •Support our efforts in promoting our projects on various social media
  
  (5). Help creating new film ideas and knowledge such as;
  • Creating cultural exchange film's about traveling and meeting new people
  • Creating film's about charity projects in the area and the work they do
  • Creating travel videos and short documentaries.
  
  (6). Help with social media skit projects such as producing short, creative video's for TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook to spread awareness or promote culture
  
  (7).Online collaboration film's
  Work with actors and editor's from different countries remotely to produce film's
  
  (8) .Help with voice acting & Online acting;
  
  •Record voiceovers for characters or narrations.
  
  •Participate in online drama readings or virtual film scenes.
  
  •Share acting ideas, tips, and performances through recorded clips.
  
  (9). Research & Content Writing
  
  •Research social or environmental issues for our film topics.
  
  •Write short blog posts, articles, or captions for our website and social media.
  
  •Gather facts and background materials for upcoming scripts or documentaries.
  
  (10). Help with Fundraising & Partnerships
  
  •Look for small film grants, sponsorships, or collaborations.
  
  •Help run crowdfunding campaigns etc .
  
  ⚠️ CLARIFICATION ⚠️
  
  Some past feedback mentions a small environmental initiative for recycling plastics.
  Please note that was a short-term film project previously run within the Acting Club, a film and drama project, that aimed at promoting environmental awareness through film, and has now ENDED.
  
  🚫 Please do not confuse the recycling plastics with our current work of filming🎬 .

  • You can Decide To Take A Hike Through The Mountains Of Wanale and Bathe under a waterfall.
  
  • You Can Take a weekend trip to the bustling town of Jinja where you can take a boat ride to where the Source of the Nile and Lake Victoria meet and go white-water rafting afterwards.
  
  • You May Decide To Watch Bull Fights in Bududa , Eastern Uganda.
