We are non - profit organization helping orphans and children with disabilities with Kindergarten in Kigoma near Lake Tanganyika. Our Kindergarten is for children who aren't able to afford school fees, we provide the program free of charge. The children come from homes such as: single parents, or homes where both parents have died and they live with a relative. Some children have only one parent but that parent has a disability or chronic illness.
Kindergartens in Tanzania are private, paid services and as a result, children like the ones we teach are often excluded from early education. We want as many children as possible to be adequately prepared for public school by the time they're 6.
We also do home visits, to check on the welfare of the family. In addition, we do after school outreach at the local public schools to help with tutoring and homework. This is because the public schools have up to 200 students per teacher in a class, making it very difficult for learning.

We are excited to receive helpers who can teach basic English! It's very simple, we want to teach ABC's, numbers, and songs and games that help with learning.
We welcome people who like teaching art, music, and dancing.
