  I am looking initially for dates from late June until late September … …but may possibly be longer as I am awaiting an operation and the recovery period will be several months potentially.
  I always spend the first 3 -4 days with my sitters before I leave so they are completely confident.

  I am an English lady who has a lovely villa style two bedroom house with splendid views of the mountains in rural Bulgaria a mile from the local village of Ravnishte. During my 10 years helping to rehome street dogs, I have gathered a small collection of my own. 12 dogs and 2 cats. 8 of the dogs live in outside accommodation close to the house but 4 are house pets. They are all however much loved pets who have now been me for many years and have an age range of 6 to 13.
  
  I am looking for someone or a couple who has plenty of animal care experience. We have a very well organised routine which takes only around 2 hours per day. That includes letting out into yard and paddocks in the morning, feeding once a day at lunch time. And closing up at nighttime. Walking the dogs is optional as they do have their own large outdoor paddocks and barns and the house dogs have a large garden to roam. This gives lots of time to explore the area, work online or just relax in a beautifully tranquil environment. As an international pet sitter of 10 years standing myself I am well used to both hosting and sitting so this is a great opportunity to hone your pet sitting skills so you can stand out from the crowd.

  On this experience a traveller can enjoy the great outdoors of the Bulgarian countryside and its nature. There are plenty of places to hike. Nighttime is perfect for stargazing as there is no light pollution. There is the chance to learn Bulgarian with local people. As the car is available if you have a licence you will be able to explore the locality.
  This is a sit for people who like to live a clean and tidy existence but are also entirely happy and familiar with real countryside living. We are a household that operates a stout boot, wellie and comfort clothes vibe.

  Driving licence is essential as we are very rural and you will need to collect pet food sometimes and be able to get to the supermarket and vets if needed in a local town . You will be asked to fuel it yourself for personal use.
  All utilities and internet are provided.
