Victoria-by-the-Sea is a centrally located seaside village on the south shore of Prince Edward Island. The Village is halfway between Charlottetown and Summerside, and 20km from the Confederation Bridge. With a population of 100 residents that increases to 135 in the summer time, the village is a vibrant engaged community which values its rich heritage and unique rural setting. There are activities in the local area (line dancing or yoga) where the workawayer can take participate.

The primary objective of hosting a Workawayer is to help provide assistance with my flower beds, my chocolate Labrador Retriever some cooking (if possible) and some general house tasks.

I just moved into my newly built house. New pictures are posted. The Workawayer will have a private bedroom and bath during their stay. Regarding food, I love to cook and everyone will be well looked after.

For a change of scenery, there is a large athletic complex close by in Summerside, where there is a huge indoor swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Also, there is skating and cross-country skiing.

Chris is a really nice person and it was great to host him in April 2025. Chris comes with Cleo (a cat) that made the situation a bit complicated and he has his own working hours, which I found different, but we managed to sort it.
