  In the midst of vineyards and fruit trees far below Mount Etna in Santa Maria di Licodia, life and work are pleasant! Reality has taught us that as a couple we can do a lot, but not everything. This gave rise to the idea of using our straightforward hospitality to make this beautiful place, with all its challenges, accessible to people who can feel comfortable here and would like to contribute their knowledge and skills. There is always something to do, we are happy to discuss or describe details depending on the season and personal talents and skills. Anyone who would like to live and work with us for a week or two is welcome - Sicilian food, accomodation in an apartment or caravan, trips to Mount Etna, Catania, Taormina etc. included!

  Inmitten von Weinbergen und Obstbaeumen weit unterhalb des Aetna in Santa Maria di Licodia ist Leben und Arbeiten angenehm! Die Realitaet hat uns gelehrt, dass wir zu zweit zwar viel, jedoch nicht alles schaffen koennen. Daraus ist die Idee entstanden, mit unserer schnoerkellosen Gastfreundschaft diesen wunderschoenen Ort mit all seinen Herausforderungen Menschen zugaenglich zu machen, die sich hier wohlfuehlen koennen und ihre Kenntnisse und Faehigkeiten einbringen moechten. Es gibt immer was zu tun, gerne besprechen oder beschreiben wir Details je nach Jahreszeit und persoenlichen Talenten und Faehigkeiten. Wer fuer ein oder zwei Wochen mal hier mit uns leben und arbeiten moechte, ist herzlich willkommen - sizilianische Kost, Unterkunft in Appartment oder Wohnwagen, Ausfluege zum Aetna, nach Catania, Taormina etc. gehoeren dazu!

  Turi is an excellent hobby chef who you can learn a lot if you want.
  We look forward to meeting many different people whose priorities include mutually respectful interaction including open constructive communication. People to whom we can convey a little bit of why we love Sicily.
  
  Termine zu Kulturveranstaltungen, Konzerten etc. koennen wir je nach Interesse suchen und besuchen.
  
  Turi ist ein hervorragender Hobby-Koch, von dem man sich - wer moechte - einiges abschauen kann.
  Wir freuen uns auf viele unterschiedliche Menschen, zu deren Prioritaeten gegenseitiger respektvoller Umgang , darunter offene konstruktive Kommunikation zaehlen. Menschen, denen wir ein bisschen davon vermitteln koennen, warum wir Sizilien lieben.

  We speak Italian and German spontaneously, so you are welcome to enjoy natural "full immersion" language lessons.We are also happy about opportunities to expand our elemantary English skills. Bei uns wird spontan Italienisch und Deutsch gesprochen, daher koennt Ihr gern natuerlichen "full immersion"-Sprachunterricht geniessen. Wir freuen uns ueber Anlaesse, mit denen wir unser elementaeres Englisch erweitern koennen.

  Alojamiento

  In a 2-room apartment or in a 1-room house if occupied, in a caravan.
  Breakfast and dinner should be organized individually. We like to have lunch together.
  We gladly offer a main meal (Sicilian style!) daily.
  We are happy to provide food such as coffee, tea, milk, bread, jam, fruit, vegetables, legumes, cheese, sausage, eggs, water and wine every day with the request that you use them to customize your own breakfast and dinner. This is to take personal needs into account and keep times flexible.
  As already mentioned, we offer lunch together every day around 1:00 p.m./1:30 p.m.
  The property does not include rental accomModation for paying guests
  
  In einem 2-Zimmer-Appartment oder in 1-Zimmer-Haeuschen oder im Wohnwagen.
  Lebensmittel wie Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Brot, Marmelade, Obst, Gemuese, Huelsenfruechte, Kaese, Wurst,
  Eier, Wasser und Wein stellen wir gerne taeglich zur Verfuegung mit der Bitte, sich damit Fruehstueck und Abendessen selbst individuell zu gestalten. Dies, um persoenliche Beduerfnisse zu beruecksichtigen sowie Uhrzeiten flexibel zu halten.
  Wie bereits erwaehnt, bieten wir taeglich ein gemeinsames Mittagessen gegen 13.00/13.30 Uhr an.
  Fruehstueck und Abendessen sollte selbst individuell organisiert werden.
  Wir essen gerne gemeinsam zu Mittag.

  You can go hiking in the area, mountain bike excursions in the surrounding area or further afield are possible. There are also bus connections to Catania, from there to Syracuse, Taormina and more.
  
  
  We absolutely do not tolerate addictive behavior of any kind.
  
  Wandern oder Exkursionen in Mountain Bike in der naeheren oder weiteren Umgebung bieten sich an. Ausserdem gibt es Busverbindungen nach Catania, von dort nach Syrakus, Taormina und mehr.
