Hello!
We’re a small family of three—Svein, Wangechi, and our little boy Theo. In our free time, we enjoy being outdoors, especially walking in nature, taking photos, flying our drone to make videos, and working on home renovation projects together.
Our house is about 20 minutes by car from Oslo city centre. If you take public transport, it might take a bit longer. The house is located in a quiet area inside a nature reserve, surrounded by forest and just a few neighbours.
From the house, you can walk about 15 minutes through the forest to reach several beautiful beaches. If you walk in the other direction, you’ll find a lovely lake where you can swim—also just 15 minutes away.
It’s peaceful here, and perfect if you enjoy nature and relaxing walks.

🔨 Carpentry work like building or fixing things
🪵 Cutting and stacking firewood
🧼 General cleaning and organizing
If you have carpentry skills, that’s amazing and very welcome! But more than anything, we value people who are kind, willing to help, and don’t mind getting their hands a little dirty. A good attitude and some energy go a long way here!
