  We are a young family of 4 with chickens, cats, and dogs looking for volunteers to help us reach our goal of building an off-grid haven in rural Bulgaria! We are learning the Bulgarian language and also teach English, so we can offer language lessons among many other things to our workaway volunteers. Our children (aged 2 and 5) are home-educated, so every day is about learning through fun, adventure, and challenges!
  
  Our home is nestled in the mountains of Northern Bulgaria in a small village surrounded by pine forests. Visitors can expect to see woodpeckers, red squirrels, and various other beautiful species during their stay. We are a vegetarian family, so we don't cook meat on the property. Cooking is one of our passions and we try to use locally sourced ingredients where possible alongside fresh eggs and herbs from our home.

  Help in the garden (weeding, planting, harvesting vegetables, clearing trees), chopping wood for the winter, feeding chickens, assistance with basic renovation tasks such as painting, helping to build walls etc.

  Bedding and a comfortable bed are provided in our spacious teepee!
  We provide vegetarian food for workawayers including fresh eggs from our chickens! Volunteers are welcome to help themselves to breakfast items (toast, fruit, eggs). Lunch and dinner will be provided each day but cooking facilities are also available for workawayers to use!

  Power cuts are very normal in our area (we are working on getting our solar setup organised!). Internet signal is usually very good.

  We have lots of space but amenities are limited in terms of water, electricity etc. We are always happy for you to charge devices in the house, hook up via an extension cable, and collect water from the house. There is a water point/spring in the village for drinking water also.
