We are a Spanish and English family. Both of us are teachers and have lived abroad in the US, the UK and Spain.
We're inviting open-minded, nature-loving people to join us in our eco-conscious home nestled in the beautiful Sierra Mariola mountains, between the Valencia and Alicante regions. There's always something to get involved in – from spending time outdoors helping with the garden, to lending a hand with small day-to-day tasks that support our sustainable way of living.
You'll be staying in our charming three-bedroom home, with your own private room and en-suite bathroom – a peaceful spot to relax and soak in the views when you're not out exploring or sharing stories over a good meal. -

We’re always happy to share our local knowledge and personal insights. One of us is originally from the area, so we can offer tips on the best nearby hikes through the stunning Mariola Natural Park, introduce you to traditional dishes and regional products, and guide you toward discovering the customs and hidden gems of the local villages.
You’ll have the house mostly to yourself, giving you time and space to reflect, enjoy slow living, and explore the nearby towns of Bocairent and Ontinyent, where modern conveniences meet old-world charm. It’s a unique chance to live like a local, experience the culture from within, and take part in a more intentional way of life. -
Ayuda
Our home is tucked away near the small town of Alfafara, right in the heart of the stunning Sierra Mariola mountains in inland Valencia/Alicante. The house itself has a bit of history – it used to be an old wine press and grain store, and we’ve lovingly transformed it into a cozy, eco-friendly rural retreat with three bedrooms.
We're looking to share this space with someone who enjoys working with their hands and spending time outdoors. There are always creative projects on the go, like small building tasks with natural stone, helping out in the garden, or just lending a hand with whatever the land needs. It's a chance to connect with the rhythms of rural life and be part of something grounded and meaningful. -

Alojamiento
Three bedroom home with two ensuite bedrooms with living room/dining room and kitchen.
Food stipend will be provided so that helpers can buy whatever meets their dietary requirements. There is a nearby organic farm selling fruit, vegetables, etc. as well as a local butchers and supermarket. -

The Sierra Mariola region is popular with tourists, particularly cycle tourism enjoying the history, gastonomy and local wines of the ´Valencian Tuscany´ region. There is a rural train service available nearby with several direct trains to Valencia.
