Thank you Robert for trusting me despite having no feedback on my profile. I had a wonderful week at his place as a dog sitter. The work was very enjoyable, as Cookie was the best girl ever, and Robert gave very clear instructions as well. I would definitely recommend Robert to anyone:)

Jamie answered my call for a dog sitter, she spent a couple of days with us before we went away and she was easy going and good company. While away she kept us updated with news and pictures and was obviously invested in Cookie's well being. We were really grateful for her contribution and I have no hesitation recommending her!

Robert and Ushi are wonderful amazing people that made me feel right at home! They have a lovely father and daughter relationship that is friendly, funny, wholesome and kind. Cookie is an adorable member of the family who is friendly and loves to cuddle! Robert, Ushi and Cookie took me on a bike ride all around Melbourne and down to St. Kilda and
… read more it was a wonderful way to see the city! We also went into the city the following day and explored museums, street art and the library. I had a fantastic time and would recommend staying with Robert and Ushi to any fellow traveller I meet! Thanks again for everything!
Ian and Esperanza answered my call for a dog sitter, they were already in the area so came and met us and spent some time with Cookie prior to beginning which reduced the anguish of her "Daddy" leaving her. They stayed in touch with news of Cookie and to ask some questions and completed most of the chores I had asked them to do. They presented
… read more very well and I was confident and comfortable leaving them in charge, I highly recommend them and wish them well moving forward!
We spent two weeks at Rob's house taking care of Cookie, who is a wonderful, kind, and very affectionate dog. We grew very fond of her during our stay while Rob was away. Francesca is a bright and breezy gal, curious and engaging she was a delight to host. She made significant contributions during her stay and charmed those who's path she crossed, she arrived as a stranger and left as a good friend, we have no hesitation in recommending her to other hosts!

I arrived in Australia on the 4th of April and, only a week later, Rob was my first "hosting" experience as workawayer. I couldn't ask for a better start: we met on a Saturday afternoon at the Bowling Center in South Yarra, to get to know each other, and Rob did me the honour to share some "bowling" knowledge with me.

… read more the tent and, even if it was raining, was the coziest bed I could ask for, since Ushi provided to accessorize "the room" with the best furnitures possible, including a night table and a super colorful lamp :)
They "hosted" my backpack as well, during the days I was cycling along the Great Ocean Road, and were ready to listen with enthusiasm to my adventures, when I came back.
Long story short, Rob and Ushi (and Cookie of course) are lovely hosts, they include you in the family routine but they also leave you privacy and time to explore the city. Rob looks after you and gives some good advice about all the practical stuff you might need to do as a WHV; this is why I can surely recommend him, especially for someone that has just arrived in the city 🌆

It was so nice that I could join part of their daily routine while I still had plenty of time to explore Melbourne. We played monopoly, went cycling, and even joined a birthday party together. And I really enjoyed listening to Robert sharing things about bowling or Ushi telling

Ushi is a clever and lovely little girl. She loves sharing and is super friendly. I am so glad that I could share Scratch with her~~ I am even thinking to share the game she made with my students!! (if she doesn't mind, haha)
