  I have space to host one individual in our family home. You will have a room in a beautifully located central Vancouver location with quick access to downtown, beaches, mountains and more!
  
  I work as a neurologist, but in my spare time I enjoy arts and crafts, DIY projects, painting, gardening and growing our food in the community garden, photography, videography and all things CREATIVE! I have two little kids who love the outdoors, riding our bikes across town to explore parks, farmer's markets, cafes and new neighbourhoods.
  
  We live in a beautiful home in East Vancouver within walking distance to everything you desire - countless parks, the PNE and Playland, grocery shops, cafes, and diverse restaurants. You can walk to a dentist, a pharmacy, multiple hair salons. We are a 1 minute walk to the bus stop which makes access to the rest of Vancouver super easy as a visitor.
  
  You will have your own room in our family house, with a balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains on the north shore. We have an open concept living space, with space to play, create and relax. There is a yard with privacy, a barbecue and plants galore! Perfect spot to unwind after a day.

  Vancouver offers an incredible cultural experience, with its unique blend of natural beauty, diverse communities, arts, and outdoor lifestyle. Living here provides opportunities to experience multicultural festivals, local markets, live music, galleries, cafés, and some of the most beautiful scenery in Canada — from the ocean and beaches to mountains and forests, all within the city.
  
  As a creative and outdoor-oriented family, we love sharing artistic experiences, nature adventures, and the active West Coast lifestyle. Whether it’s exploring local neighborhoods, visiting cultural events, hiking, spending time by the water, or enjoying the city’s vibrant arts scene, we would love to include our au pair in these experiences and help them feel connected to life in Vancouver. You will have an opportunity to partake in gardening, participate in many creative projects (building, DIYs, painting, clay, you name it!)
  
  We hope this exchange will offer not only a welcoming home, but also a meaningful opportunity to experience Canadian culture and West Coast living firsthand.

  Experience with children is a must - preferable to have some first aid training. Looking for someone organized who can help keep our home functioning. We are a very creative family and love arts, crafts, music and gardening. You would be welcome to participate in all our outings and activities and have your own time to enjoy the beautiful city of Vancouver!

  Alojamiento

  Clean and comfortable room with attached balcony in our family home - everything you need will be provided. If you are helping the family during meal times, you are welcome to join in with our meals :)
  
  You are welcome to join in on our family meals - we prepare most of our meals at home. I am celiac so the household is gluten free. We cook 3 meals a day and are open to your dietary restrictions and mindful of allergies. We prepare healthy, nutritious meals and are health conscious. You are also welcome to use our kitchen to prepare your own meals/snacks as you like.
