1. About Us
We are a family of four: myself, my wife, and our two energetic sons (4 years old and 1 year old). We recently moved from the busy city to the beautiful countryside of Tamba-Sasayama to enjoy a slower, more peaceful life.
We run a small guesthouse in a separate location from our home. Please note that your help is strictly for our private family life. No help with any kind of business activities.
2. Help / Project Details
Our main request is for you to interact and play with our two young boys! They are very active and love meeting new friends. We believe that exposing them to different cultures and languages from a young age is a wonderful opportunity.
In addition to playing with the kids, we would appreciate some light help around the house and garden to keep our home tidy.
3. Cultural exchange & Learning opportunities
We value spending time together. On weekends, we love going out as a family to explore, visit cafes, or enjoy the nature. We would love for you to join us on these family outings!
You will have plenty of chances to experience authentic Japanese rural life and relax in a beautiful environment.
We would love to cook together using local ingredients and share our cultures by cooking each other's traditional dishes.
Let’s make great memories together!

1. Countryside Life:
Experience daily life in a 40-year-old house that we renovated ourselves.
We can share the joys and challenges of living in the Japanese countryside.
2. Family & Parenting:
Get a real look at Japanese family life.
Our two young children are energetic and love meeting new people.
3. Sustainable Living:
We live a simple but creative life, running a small business from home.
You can see how we manage a guesthouse as part of our lifestyle (though no help is required for this).
Even though we are English beginners, we are very open-minded and will welcome you as a member of our family.
Ayuda
Our main project is to create a rich cultural environment for our two young sons (4 and 1 year old).
We would like you to play with them, and help them experience different languages and cultures through daily interaction.
Additionally, we need help with light household tasks to maintain our home, such as:
・Keeping common areas tidy and organized.
・Helping with meal preparation or clearing the table.
・Home improvement
We expect about 3 hours of help per day, mainly in the morning.
From the afternoon until the evening, you are free to relax, go sightseeing, or work on your own projects.
We want you to enjoy your time here!
Strictly no help with any kind of business activities.
