**Urgently looking for Pilates teachers**
We are also looking for Yogis for the off season, mid- May to October who can commit to 2 months of teaching with us.
If you would like to teach Pilates, Yin or Vinyasa from June - late August the please note that in your message as we are getting more than 5 applications per day sometimes.
Phew - our first crazy season is now over and we are looking for volunteers in the off-season and also in the upcoming second season. We have also opened a second location in Hiriketiya which we wil be growing this season.
Our spaces are the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. We built it and people came!
Ice, sauna, yoga and coffee packed into a small location next to the beach. In our first season we often had 100 people a day using our ice bath & sauna or attending a class.
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate workawayers to come and help out for the season which starts roughly between late October and early Decemeber depending on the waves and weather and goes on until late April (October - Dec and May are the shoulder season and a great time to visit).
In Weligama you'll be in a busy surf town two minutes from one of the best surfing beaches in Sri Lanka and one of the best places to learn to surf in the world with a range of cafes, bars and yoga studios all nearby.
In Hiriketiya you'll be in one of the prettiest bays in Asia and one of the most beautiful spots in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is booming and it is a great time to visit.
We have a team of 5 Sri Lankan staff that we have trained and work with and are looking to compliment our team with 1-2 volunteers as we look to open a new location shortly in Ella.

Our location is right in the heart of Weligama and our 5 local staff are all from Weligama were all trained by us.
There is a huge chance to meet and work with locals, especially the surf community.
We are also planning to work with a number of other small businesses and all of our food and coffee will be sourced locally from Sri Lanka.

- Minimum stay of one month - please don't message us unless you can commit to 1 month/4 weeks unless you really have a skill or solution you don't think we can do without
Workawayers who can do 2 out of the following will be given priority:
- Yoga/breathwork (special need for teachers & facilitators who can guide people into the Ice)
- social media/graphic design
- General help
If you can do two or even three things from the list above we want to hear from you - if you can do one then we still want to hear from you, perhaps you also speak a second language or have another unique skill we can use?
There is the opportunity for paid work and even visa sponsorship for longer positions for the right person.

Alojamiento
We offer a private en-suite room + scooter + local food in return for 20-25 hours help a week.
The room is none AC as standard but an AC room is available if required.
Candidates who can drive a scooter are preferred but driving is not essential in Weligama.
Local food + tea or coffee is included on the days you work.
Workaways are able to and encouraged to use the Ice & sauna daily plus receive a big discount on all classes at Ice.

Surf - we are right on the best beginner beach to learn to surf in the world with multiple intermediate spots just 5-10 minutes away.
We are partnered with several surf schools who can provide boards and lessons at a discounted price.

I worked around 20 hours a week in exchange for food during shift and a room in a really nice spacious house and also moped rent all covered.
