Our area is beautifully rural with traditional local agriculture still in action. Our neighbour keeps a herd of goats and you'll sometimes see horse drawn buggies on the roads. We try and learn from local growing methods. There are lots of local Festa village celebrations. We are off-grid so it's an opportunity to experience this way of life.

We need help maintaining the land, looking after fruit and olive trees, olive harvest early winter, veg growing, woodwork building , help running small events.

We have a small caravan in an olive grove suitable for 1 or a couple. We have permaculture compost loos and showers, Plenty of space for workaway own vehicle or tent
We're not far from a small village, Pedrogao de Sao Pedro, where there's a cafe or from a small town, Penamacor, where there are restaurants, bars, Post Office, banks etc. There's a growing community of folks from around the world. We're half an hour away from a large town, Castelo Branco for shopping and entertainment. No Dogs. Longer term help would be preferable but any help welcome. Any age welcome.
