Hello!
We are a lovely family of four living in Aosta, a mountain town in Aosta Valley (Italy). 🇮🇹 ⛰️
We are looking for an au pair for the whole month of May and one from mid July to mid August.
We need someone with experience in childcare, especially with young children like our sons of 6 months and almost 3 years. 👶🏼👦🏼
We can host for one month but we can decide together when coming/ leaving exactly…⏰

We are very interested to teach a bit of Italian and to make the au pair explore our town and let her taste Italian food! 🍝
Weekends are free so she can visit other Italian towns! 🇮🇹

☕️In the morning the au pair should be ready from 7:30 to prepare Emile for school and take him on foot to the school which is very close to our house.
⏱️At 5pm she should take Emile back home and play with him ‘till dinner and prepare him for bed time. During the day the au pair should also go out with Mael in the stroller (alone or with me also!).
Au pair’s task is to take care of children in order to give us some rest time. 👦🏼👶🏼
We could also ask help with the house for example setting the table before/after lunch but since I really like taking care of the house by myself I think she’s going to take care most of all about children and less about the house.

In Aosta Valley we speak both Italian and French so we can teach to the au pair both. Moreover I am an Italian teacher 😉😉 In the house we would like to speak English in order to improve our level: I am intermediate in English speaking/understanding while my boyfriend is learning a little bit English.
Alojamiento
🏡 We live near the city centre of Aosta in a lovely house with two floors. At the first floor there are a large kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, a laundry and a bedroom for the au pair.
At the second floor there are our bedroom, Emile’s bedroom, two bathrooms, a study and two wardrobes.
We also have a little garden to play and to have lunch or dinner outside in summer.
🇮🇹 ⛰️ We live in Aosta Valley, a small region situated in the north-west of Italy. We live in a small town called Aosta which is located between the mountains. In Aosta it is possible to discover the town with monuments, restaurants and shops on foot ‘cause it’s a very little and a quiet place. Everyone likes our mountains and there is a beautiful landscape! Quiet and tranquillity are the key words of our town!

We hope finding a kind au pair with past experience in childcare.
We hosted three times and we learnt a lot from these experiences, about what we want from an au pair and about what we don’t.
Taking care of young children is very hard: they want to play a lot, do walkings with the stroller, sing songs… young children have a lot of energy so should be our next au pair.
We also would like to find an au pair who is interested in learning Italian: it’s very usefull to understand our children’s needs.
