This place of exchange and participatory work is located at the exit of Confolens, on the banks of the Goire. Between permaculture, crafts, edible forests and wild plants, we will eventually offer a mix of accommodation for transient people and shared work tools (kitchen lab, wood workshop, dryers, etc.), favoring low-tech and local solutions.
Our neighbors come from various horizons but have a common goal of degrowth and peaceful life;) (edible forest, production of wild plants, ... each his hobby)
We can show you about gardening, wild edible plants, using a tractor, pruning trees etc. And if you are looking for a place to diy
If you want a place to build up your van, learn how to climb trees, or just chill out and enjoy bird songs, you are welcome to drop by.
Our projets in 2025 ? Mostly outdoor things: solar shower, passive dryer, dry fences, and taking care of the river ... and many more small projects

Ce lieu d'échange et de travail participatif est situé à la sortie de Confolens, au bord du Goire. Entre permaculture, artisanat, foret comestibles et plantes sauvages, nous proposerons à terme un mélange entre hébergement de gens de passage et outils de travail partagé (labo cuisine, atelier bois, séchoirs ...), en privilégiant les solutions lowtech et local.
Nos voisins sont de divers horizons mais avons un but commun de décroissance et de vie paisible ;)
Nous avons plusieurs chambres à présent, et un parking en bord de rivière si vous venez en Van / Tente. Plein de projets à lancer : douche d'extérieur, circulation de l'eau, des mares en plus, un séchoir passif, des plantes grimpantes à structurer ... en fonction des gens qui passeront et qui auront des envies ! Nous pouvons également vous montrer de la cueillette sauvage, taille des arbres, utilisation de tractopelle, bricolage en tout genre ... à votre dispo !

Many small projects ongoing so you should better contact us for the latests news: we will build some accomodations (water ponds, solar showers, dry toilets, tropical greenhouse, walpini, cold dryer, hot dryer ...), renovate a barn, and do some farming ... we will need help for all of those so it really depends on what you want to do, we will tell you
Beaucoup de sujet en cours: merci de nous contacter pour connaitre les projets à venir. Il s'agit principalement de la création du lieu (travail du bois, serres, potager, création de foret ...)

Alojamiento
We can host with a separated bedroom, a sofa in the living room, and we have space outside for vans / campings cars : in any case, the house is always open whatever you need - toilets, bathroom, kitchen, internet, tools ...
Actuellement, possibiité d'héberger dans une chambre d'amis et le salon. Des places sont disponibles si vous venez en tente ou en Van. Dans tous les cas, la maison est ouverte: Internet, Cuisine, SdB, Toilettes, Atelier ... Nous partageons les repas selon vos envies.
Chiens, chats, perroquets, enfants, couples, personnes seules : tout est possible du moment que nous restons à une taille de groupe raisonnable.

The village is 8 minutes walking away, and there is plenty of waking to have around. You can of course stay on the hammocs along the rivier as well :)
autour de la maison, il y a des randonnées, le village, des chateaux, des jolies rivières, mais vous pouvez aussi juste vous posez sur le ponton dans un hamac avec un bon livre :)

la propriété est en grande partie cloturé, mais à un mètre de hauteur... possibiité d'accueillir tout type d'animaux si ils ne sont pas fugueurs. A tester avec notre chat qui est plutot cool !
