The most important task here is to be You. You in your Heart. :)
I am a 40-year-young woman living in the nature in the Western-Finland.
In my opinion, sharing brings joy to life, so I can help you at least with these skills, which are natural to me:
- understanding people on a deep level
- teaching meditation
- teaching Yin yoga
- teaching reflexology
- showing how to live in harmony with the nature
I would appreciate very much, if you could help me here with these things:
- Cooking healthy meals
- Help with computers
- Cleaning up
- Next summer we will build a cabin!
- I might also need help with video editing (can you teach me?), or programming (can you teach me?), or photos (are you good at taking photos and can you teach me?). You can specify, which kind of skills and experience you have.
Tell me, which of these things listed are interesting to you. I hope that your stay here is rewarding on both sides.
A driver's licence and willingness to drive would be a big plus.
I share my house with my father. He speaks only Finnish, and most likely he is working on his own tasks outdoors most of the time.
If the rooms in my house are full, I can also accommodate you in a different building.
There is no public transport coming all the way to Siikainen, where we live. I can help you to find transportation somewhere nearby and I can pick you up from there.

For the year 2024 we are full, but next summer there will be 3-8 week opportunities to stay with us. :)

Volunteering hours usually between 10:30am and 3:30pm (or sometimes a bit later). 25 hours a week.
No drugs. I don't use a lot of alcohol. I would prefer that you don't use much either.

In the main house there is one extra room upstairs.
Downstairs there is a kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. Usually once a week we heat up our own sauna. :)
If you prefer staying in another building in your own privacy, that might be possible.

I have hosted volunteers in different homes, in which I have lived in Tampere and in Pori. My aim is to make your stay nice also here in Siikainen.
