Descripción
We are Todd, Wiebke, Marlo (9) and Millie (7). We live on an avocado farm outside of Toowoomba (1.5 hrs from Brisbane).
Wiebke works in accountancy and Todd does horse bodywork. Todd is Australian and Wiebke grew up in Germany.
We have both travelled a lot through Europe, South East Asia, Canada and Australia and we know how great it is to see a bit of the local life instead of one hostel after the other.
Workawayers are welcome to stay with us and experience the cultural exchange.
You can experience the surrounding area, meet locals, exchange travel stories and learn a little about the Australian way of life.
We like to host motivated, positive people that would like to help with gardening, animals, children, cooking and household duties.
We are currently in the process of setting up an Equine rejuvenation area.
We have a self contained accomodation with your own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen etc.
Looking forward to welcoming you to our farm.

It was my first experience with workaway and it couldn´t have been better. They were absolute warm, welcoming and friendly.
I had my own bedroom which I was really after 8 weeks sleeping in a Hostel ;). The food was very good and vegetarian are not a problem at all.
