Hello! My name is Deeksha.
I am an Artist and an Architect and have been in the field for over thirty years. I grew tired of commercial projects and large concrete constructions and felt that I wanted to create/design my own space with the land and treescape as my canvas. I that felt I needed to put up something that is experimental, natural, earth friendly , something that I could resonate with more , but also something for the community and for people at large, so I began this project.
We started our Eco home stay , Health Cafe, Art gallery and a Workshop space about 3 years ago and have been curating and ,edifying it ever since! It sits on a one acre piece of land , right off the road sop but touching the serene paddy field on one side and reaching up to the top of a small hill on the other, it is a beautiful walk up.
My idea is to integrate food, living ,expression , sharing and community in to this space . It has been organically growing and expanding into what it has become today and is becoming :)
I run the place along with my two sons , a small group pf permanent staff, and always an interesting group of volunteers living contributing :)Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Goa is a curious place with its own unique character. Its Portuguese influence and fusion with the indian cultures made a very relaxed and open minded culture of people.
However there is so much cultural diversity here , its is like a microcosm of the larger indian context , and a peaceful place also .
There is also so much of Natural Diversity for all of those nature freaks , Goa has the largest percentage of green cover out of all the states of india, it has diving , backwaters, dolphins, reserve sub tropical rainforests, giant waterfalls, ancient temples, medieval churches , and all the undiscovered nooks and crannies of this beautiful land , so much of it still connected to its old ways of dimply lit villages beyond stretches of paddy. Goa is beautiful . We are central located and part of an ecologically minded network of entrepreneurs and spaces and can help connect travellers to these
spots.
Volunteers love talking with us and learning about Goa and India , spending time with and learning from the local staff, learning new recipes, caring for our family of pets, exploring the space and so much more.
It is a very soft landing for those new to travelling india.
The Art and Music scene in Goa is always bustling !
We host interesting workshops and events at our space
Looking forward to hosting you !Ayuda
We always have a variety of tasks taking place .
-We are working on a couple of small organic gardens where we are trying to grow our own food , people interested also help with the garden as its a good opportunity to learn about farming in topical countries
-At the moment we are finishing out tree house and renovating our structures for the monsoon , the mason is building earth walls and there is always something on related to maintenance , paining , etc
- Graphic art and marketing skills are always welcome also!
- We love that every body brings their own unique gifts and skills and passions and we love to give people the space to share and contribute in their own ways if you're an artist, a carpenter, a musician , etc , we are always open to all the unique contributions ,
and we try to make sure that we balance it well so we get all the needfuls done.
-We are open and flexible also
- We are not looking for volunteers to help with the running of the RestaurantIdiomas hablados

We have a simple and clean volunteer dormitory in our Eco Stay . Each bed comes with a mosquito net, sheets etc , there is access to clean bathrooms a few steps away from your room , some parts , like the bamboo loft in the dormitory can be partitioned with fabric fro private spaces for couples etc.
The Art Gallery , Garden and Cafe space are great for recreation , access to wifi etc. Just too mention , clean aqua guard water is always available.
We provide 3 tasty heathy vegetarian meals everyday with chai in the evenings
Space is ample.Algo más...
Once the helping hours are over volunteers are welcome to travel around goa, there are many nice nightlife spots close to the house and Goa is quite happening during the season time... Beaches are also very close where volunteers can enjoy themselves, Candolim is just 15 minutes away and the slightly nicer beaches like Anjuna and Vagator are a little further away. We can help with organizing transport for the volunteers , bikes, etc.
*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ It is important to note that we do not appreciate our volunteers indulging in irresponsible misuse of Intoxicants in our property*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ We have a calm , serene and positive ambience at our space and like to keep it that way:) !
Monsoon time Goa is extremely beautiful , lush , calm and still has interesting music and arty evenings, parties also for those that are interested. , nature related stuff like kayaking, white water rafting, , etc are also happening ..
