  Retired early to France, we are a husband and wife, who have been together for 39years, living in our own beautiful stone barn, which we have owned for 14 years. You will be amazed at what we have managed to do during that time. We will share our skills, and teach you them if you would like.
  
  You will be assisting us, as we progress work on the property. You will be able to maybe learn new skills or brush up on skills from the past that you wish to redevelop. you will be able to use current skills or develop new skills in the garden by assisting in gardens, fruit beds, vegetable allotments and polytunnels. Most importantly you will be learning about the French way of life in a small community, which we are fully integrated in.
  
  We regularly meet and dine with our French neighbours and if you wish you will be able to join with us and them.
  
  As you can see, we enjoy hosting people in our upper garden.
  
  Another pictures shows an area of garden and if you look closely you will see a deer eating.
  
  During the summer, we hope that you enjoy eating outdoors, enjoying beautiful views across the valley as the sun sets to the West. The property and all gardens and space face to the South.
  
  You will not be expected to help more than the required hours in a day/week. You will not be expected to help at the weekends, unless it was your choice to help on a Saturday and have a different day off in the week. All can be arranged by negotiation.
  
  We can provide a large family tent. We will provide you with electric and a fridge in the tent. Absolutely ideal location if you have a camper van. We can accommodate any size of vehicles..
  
  Eating…… We take it that you have already gathered that we like entertaining, so your food will be provided for you, and we will eat together.
  
  Within 10miles of glorious lakes to explore during downtime. There are local villages and places of interest nearby.
  
  Glorious French experience.
  
  Our expectation is 5 hours per day. Total Flexibility of helping hours. Early starts or late starts to suit, but 5 hours is our expectation. Sadly to us flexible doesn't mean, 3 1/2hours first day, then 4 1/2 hours, then 3 hours, then after discussion from my wife, begrudging 5 hours.
  
  We have nothing to hide, hence me adding this to our profile. Hopefully our next experience will be a better one. Thank you once again for looking and hope for you to make contact soon.

  Learn about local region in France. Mix with local neighbours who are French. Enjoy beautiful French countryside. Enjoy proper sandy French beaches within less than 10 miles. Wonderful story about tonnes of sand being imported from Dubai when they were making it as it is now.
