  Curitiba has some nice sights. My flat is on the city fringe. Around 45 min by bus to downtown. Iguazu falls can be done as long weekend trip. You can also go to Florianopolis for the weekend - about 5 hours bus ride. Or Ilha do Mel about 2 hours away.
