My time at Village Seeds was unforgettable. I didn’t expect to be surrounded by so much love, intentionality, hospitality, and such deeply caring, artistic people. Everyone living on the land shares a genuine commitment to the Earth and to building intentional community. The garden and the land the village resides on are absolutely stunning.

My experience was novel and very much enjoyed. I participated in a weekend work party where I learned new ways of using natural materials in constructing and insulating a structure that is to be the indoor (winter) kitchen. When the weekend ended, I was invited to stay on for a week or two longer and I took on the kitchen duty of cooking and cleaning while there. There is always a project at hand to tend to and plenty of peaceful space available to be alone to ponder the glory of the Universe if that is what's desired. I look forward to collaborating on future projects with the VS community, come Spring time, and highly recommend a work away experience at the Village Seed for all who enjoy Nature and a semi rustic living experience.

This is such a great workaway! I stayed at Village Seed for two weeks in October, and absolutely loved it! I really liked being immersed in nature with an outside kitchen and an outdoor shower. But what really made my time here special were all the permanent residents. Thank you for all the meaningful conversations!

Fantastic place with truly fantastic people. I arrived without a vehicle but Sam and the other residents made sure I had everything I needed. I felt welcomed to this gentle forest from the start. I cannot recommend this place enough ⭐️🌲😊

I spent a weekend in this magnificent place. It was very beautiful; everyone was kind and willing to help each other. It’s a perfect spot for a full immersion in nature, cultural exchanges, and the facility is equipped with all the comforts. Highly recommended. Of course, being a community surrounded by nature, it requires a bit of adaptability

Wow Village Seed is such a special project. It has my been my favourite workaway yet. Nestled in alder woodland, the land here has such an incredible grounding presence. The humans (and the dogs!) who occupy this land are kind, empathetic, welcoming and wise in many different ways -what a beautiful collage of souls! While I personally fell into

I stayed for three weeks but could have easily stayed for longer. The bell tent was very comfortable and was cosy despite the chilly evenings. As one of the early workawayers I'm excited to see how this project grows and changes, especially in regards to the outdoor kitchen and other communal buildings.Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

My experience at village seed was really positive. My perspective was invited into the daily decision making processes, and I really appreciated feeling valued.
I really enjoyed the communal meals together, the time around the fire, singing songs and sharing what was authentic for us.
I supported the garden and animal tasks, and helped with

First of all, after being more in the city, landing in these green lush felt incredible. Followed by being warmly welcomed by these humans - I was actually facing a rough one (unrelated)by the time I arrived and how it calmed my heart! <3
And the remarkable fact that its a recent community started only 2 years ago and that has already made such

While being there, I helped with some farming and envisioning what’s to come next: a house for the winter! Where? A new path! Let’s create it, here feels good, like this? What’s there to do? Cook a meal? Clean some weeds? Lets go!
Waking up in one of the bell tents and going out to get coffee and a hug, and finishing the day with a community meal around the fire.
I felt super super safe being a woman on the land. I felt like myself, and welcomed in my vulnerability and just in whatever state I was in. Respected and included. Indeed the pain I was going through couldn’t take over precisely for this. Even for the short period of time, everyone took me in and I was happy to join the team and get to work to build an ever better village seed!
Much love to you all! XxSolo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.
