Descripción
We are new owners at the Backpackers in Greymouth. A family of 5 with a beagle.
Our place provides comfortable, unique backpackers’ accommodation in an amazing setting of bush, bird and fish life.
We offer Free unlimited WiFi, and use of kayaks and bikes to enjoy and explore the local area which prove to be very popular.
Comfortable dorm style accommodation is available with min wage paid for all hours worked. Female only dormitory is also available. Central heating in all rooms and your bed has hotel standard linen and bedside lights and power points.
A supermarket is conveniently located 5 min walk, Aquatic centre across the road, 10 minutes walk to our wild West Coast beach. You can enjoy green stone (jade) hunting and magical sunsets at the beach.
Greymouth is the ideal base for day trips to Paparoa National Park (Punakaiki), Arthur’s Pass National Park and Westland National Park (Glaciers). So much to do and see!
We love the vibe and trust you will enjoy your time with us.

The hostel is immaculately clean and it felt so natural to be part of the team helping maintain and promote the homely energy here.
For those who like to travel this place is a dream, adorned with nice masks and paintings from all over the world, guitar to use, kayak, bicycles, tv room and many books to read! The work is not hard and it's pleasant and satisfying! happy to have helped
