I stayed at Stefano and Elena's place for three weeks and a few days and I must say, it was a great time. They were very helpful since the very beginning, when they answered my request for work at their place in about 2 hours. I had to work at their farm from 2 to 3 hours per day as was requested in the review on workaway and the family met my
… read more requests for a day off when I asked them. The work was to some extent demanding, but I found it ok and enjoyed it. I also enjoyed learning new things about Italian cuisine and gardening, for which all of the family members were very supportive and willing to explain me whatever I asked. I especially appreciated production of essential oils and deodorants, which was a fascinating experience for me (although, I must say, it was a lengthy process). The provided food I would describe in three words: vegetables, plenty, splendid. The city and surroundings of Trento are beautiful and worth exploring. Moreover, the family made several trips with me to the hills and mountains in the region of Trentino Alto-Adige, which was wonderful! Now to the family itself; Elena, Stefano and Matteo were welcoming since the start of my stay and it was a pleasure to chat with them during the meals or (my favorite) coffee breaks. We talked a lot in English about Italy and Czech Republic, compared the differences between our habits, and we enriched each other culturally. Most importantly, they made me feel comfortable at their place, provided me with everything I needed and I liked it. I liked the stay and, for sure, I like the family itself. … read more nostre abitudini e tradizioni. E' stato un valido aiuto nei lavori manuali, ma anche nell'approfondimento della lingua inglese. E' stato un carissimo compagno di escursioni in montagna e nelle attività sportive che abbiamo fatto assieme.
Ordinato, pulito ed affidabile nella gestione della casa. Ha rivelato di essere paziente e competente anche nel rapporto con i bambini. OTTIMA ESPERIENZA. RACCOMANDABILE A TUTTI.
Marek has been our host for one month. In our family, he has been really polite, he spent his time with us and shared his life experiences, showing interest towards our traditions and habits. He turned out to be nice, skillful, and showed practical abilities. He has been a good helper both in manual work and in teaching us English. We spent some time hiking and playing sport activities, having a lot of fun in doing it. He has always been tidy, clean, reliable, in the management of the house, helping us in cleaning and keeping all tidy. He was able to look after children, showing patience with them.
GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! ADVISABLE!!!!
