====================
**we are looking for Workwayers April 2024 onwards for garden projects and preparation ahead of our season!!**
====================
We are Tim and Jen from the UK, and along with our 5 and 8 year old daughters and our black lab, we have embarked on a life in rural France in the Acquitaine region of the Dordogne.
We are situated in a peaceful rural village with the added benefit of being a 5 minute walk to the artisan boulangerie, small convenience shop, post office and two restaurants (one of which is also a bar). Our house is placed amongst fields of walnut trees with beautiful French countryside views.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

We are looking for enthusiastic and fun volunteers as we prepare our house for our summer rental season.
We have various ongoing projects throughout the year, many of which involve preparing the manoir in one way or the other, for our summer rental season.
We are looking for general help and assistance within areas which include:
- a deep clean of the house
- gardening (general maintenance/ weeding/ cutting hedges)
- painting and decorating (interior)
- maintenance of the pool area
- we have many trees on our land and some are in need of pruning. We are looking for volunteers who have an interest or experience in assisting in this area.
-assistance with childcare
We also welcome volunteers who have experience of looking after children. Our girls are ages 5 and 8, so we'd welcome anyone who enjoys playing and spending time with young children.
We encourage volunteers to help with general daily life, whether it's helping clear away after dinner or watering the plants.
We are passionate about updating and improving our home and grounds and are looking for people who can help us realise these dreams. We welcome all skills!Idiomas

We offer a private bedroom and bathroom in addition to the shared family spaces of the kitchen/ lounge/ garden etc.
As a family, we enjoy cooking and eating together (we are pescatarian) and are keen to learn new recipes and cooking skills from other cultures.Algo más...
During your time off there is lots of wide open countrytside, which offers wonderful walks and views of the local town and chateau.
The house and grounds also offer lots of space for volunteers to have their own privacy to read or relax, for example.
There is much on offer locally from visiting caves, to exploring medieval towns and swimming in rivers and lakes- just to name a few. However, a car is required to reach these and we can provide bikes!
Life with a young family is often busy and the evenings provide a bit of time to get a small or quick job done- more so in the spring and summer months- particularly outside.
We are looking for volunteers who are respectful of a quiet evening- perhaps sipping wine after a busy yet fulfilling day.Un poco más de información
