Hello lovely people,
I’m looking forward to read your message if you are truly interested in joining my projects. Please read the profile carefully and only write to me if you’re sure you want to come here.
Many people write to me but also to one or more of my neighbours. In the end they decide to go help my neighbours. If you prefer going there where it is more comfortable, please don’t even send me a message.
My name is Jennifer. I'm a single mum of three and have little to no help around my land that’s why there is not a lot of progress here. I love this simple lifestyle we are living. Still, I’m looking forward to more comfort and less chaos. ;)
Please note: We don’t have running water, we don’t have a well. For everything except drinking we use rainwater. Drinking water currently comes from the neighbours' well. From March to October there is enough electricity from the solar panels. We’ve got fast, stable internet. There is no house or closed space for helpers to stay. You can pitch a tent wherever you want, also under the roof of the stable.
I need help with:
- daily tasks
- taking down structures
- building and rebuilding structures
- prepare spaces for gardening
- gardening
- taking care of the kids
As a single mother I take care of the daily needs of my children. Next to kids and household I’m trying to build my own online business. If you are able to take over tasks on your own that’s a big advantage since I don’t have the time to watch over you the whole time. Of course I’m around to answer questions. I prefer clear communication. If something is bothering you, please tell me. I will do the same.
Our land lies a bit further away from the next village. The valley we're living in is home to a few families. We are surrounded by beautiful nature which is inviting for long hikes. If you decide to come here, you'll have a quiet and wholesome time in nature.

Our lifestyle is pretty basic which definitely can be a challenge sometimes. By joining our daily lives you'll get to experience this simple way of living. Also, I think you will be able to appreciate "normal" things like endless water and electricity more again.
In general I think you can learn a lot by living the way we're living. Also, in the context of motherhood, education, mindset.

Alojamiento
You will be sleeping in a tent which could be put under the roof of our stable. We recommend you to bring your own sleeping bag as it can get cold in the nights. Also warm clothes and good shoes would be preferable for autumn/winter/spring.
We can provide you a mattress and blanket, plus a tent if you wish. If the road is not too wet it is possible to get up here in your campervan.
We are living off-grid surrounded by nature. The electricity comes from photovoltaic panels, the drinking water from a well, the firewood from the woods. For washing we usually use rainwater or go have a dip in the lake. Our toilet is a compost toilet.
Electricity and Wifi are available in our house. Of course food will be provided.

We are in plain nature, no big streets nearby but many paths to hike!
In the village down the hill (1.5km) you can find a small shop, where you can connect to the locals or just spend some time off.
There goes a mini bus from the village to Orastie, where you have more variety of shops and entertainment if you're looking for that.
Hitchhiking from or to Orastie is the easiest option.

We have a good internet connection so that working online should not be an issue.

If you are okay with parking your campervan more or less 1 km from our house, there are possibilities.

Yes. But only if the pets are easy going. I don't want to feel suspicious with them being around my kids.
