Descripción
We are Lara & Diego, a young couple wishing to take care of our land and enjoying living in a "compostable" house (wood structure, straw bale walls and natural plasters) we built last year thanks to you all! We still need to improve the garden ☀️

🦸 Diego stayed 2 years travel-working in Australia and comes from Belgium & Chili
What we have in common: South America!

🌿 GARDENING 🌿
Help us creating our Eden's garden! Here is a non-exhaustive list of possible tasks:
• Mulch the trees with sheep whool & straw
• Water the plants
• Move soil to a planting area
• Sowing & planting
• Weeding/cutting some plants
🛠️ DIY & GENERAL HELP 🛠️
We always have many little tasks & stuff to handle, ask for the current ones!
• Move stones to fill in holes in the path
• Remove plastic from a pond
• Remove plants from the canal
• Strenghten the fence
• Improve the outdoor chill-out area... 🤗
👉 The exchange is based on a 4,5 hours of help 5 days/week, usually from 9 AM to 1.30-2 PM with a break in the morning & then lunch together when possible 🥗
👉 We're looking for A PAIR OF PEOPLE (friends, couple, undefined... >> see "Accommodation" chapter) who wants to experience the great outdoors for a few weeks in a region that has so much to offer 🌞
👉 2 weeks is okay but 3 weeks is better to feel at home and get to know each other!
👉 Good physical condition is best (carrying loads, withstanding heat...) and gardening experience welcome! 🌻

Alojamiento
🛏️ ACCOMMODATION
We provide accommodation into a mini-tiny-house (13㎡): our lovely "roulotte" has 1 large double bed. You'll have solar electricity, water access, solar shower and dry toilets.
⛺️ LOCATION
The plot is at the end of a dirt track, 20min walk from the village (10min by bike), 15min drive from the beaches and Argeles train station (40min by bike) and same for the mountains. 👉 Far away and close to everything at the same time: in a rural area but nearby tourist places!
🍲 FOOD
We offer 3 meals/ingredients per day, 7days/week, mostly veggie & we usually cook and lunch together.
♥️ SHARING IS CARING
In the daily life, we'll share:
👉 Lunches when we are on site, if we are working outside you can cook by yourself
👉 Some evening meals: we try at least to share 1 meal/day with you, lunch and/or dinner :)
👉 Our shower (there is also a canal)
👉 Our kitchen if it rains, otherwise you have an outdoor camping gas for your independency
👉 Our 2 bikes for you to chill around
👉 Some lifts if you want to go to the seaside

🌊 Lara grew up in the surrounding area and can propose you different activities nearby, particularly on the coast: she works (pottery shop) and has family in Collioure, most beautiful village ever 🏖️
🌲 Diego is working as a forestry engineer on the mountain side.
