  We are a German family of 5 (plus a dog, two cats and 5chickens) living on the countryside of Hamburg (40 mins by bus to the city).
  
  We have 3 children (2001, 2003, and 2005) all the children are not living in the house. They often visit, they are studying abroad, and our son has finished study.We are looking for support with general household chores: driving, cooking, gardening, walking the dog and some support for my husband Kai (58years old) who has MS would be a great help. It would be great if there is an experience in assistance , would be an advantage. There is professional help as well.
  
  The accommodation offered would be comfortable, a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom in the main house. So far we have a lot of experience with exchange students from Rotary. We really like having people from all over the world staying with us and we really enjoy sharing our knowledge of the culture here as well as whatever we can do to help you explore the area.
  
  It is possible to take a language course in Hamburg, there are plenty of schools in the area.
  
  We are an active family and we speak English, French and Portuguese. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our normal family life with all the daily tasks and needs. We often have visitors and Katja is quite busy with her own veterinarian praxis. Our daughters are in the 11th and 12th grade and have a lot of experience with youth exchange programs.
  
  The location is well connected by bus and you would be in the centre of Hamburg in 40 minutes. It is a beautiful area with plenty of activities on offer from walking, biking, tennis and soccer kai. In the summer there is a public swimming pool nearby.

  Kai mostly works from his home office and needs some help with the household and the gardening (driving the ride-on mower) when Katja is in her praxis and the girls are in school.

  Alojamiento

  Comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom and small kitchen in a family house, but of course you can join us for all meals. We have a nice garden and we can offer you a bike.

  Our village is in the South of Hamburg (Lower Saxony). Hamburg is situated in the North of Germany and approx. 1.5 hours from Berlin by train. It is the country's biggest port and the second-busiest in Europe.
  
  There is plenty of diversity on offer as it is a beautiful city with plenty of water and parks, lots of museums and cultural opportunities.
