I live on a half an acre site 5km from the town of Killarney. The beautiful Killarney National park is within a short cycle and I enjoy spending time cycling and walking in our stunning landscape. I have some organic growing beds and I'm trying to expand my garden. Two of my children have settled in France so I would appreciate help with improving my very basic french. I have a dog and two cats that enjoy company and attention. I speak fluent Gaelic

Volunteers will have the opportunity to help and live alongside an Irish woman who have always lived here in the county Kerry. If they are fit and interested I will introduce them to the local mountains and some of the many beautiful cycles in my area. I swim a few times a week in the National Park lakes and volunteers would be welcome to join me. I am happy to converse in Gaelic or English. You would learn about gardening organically and have the opportunity to spend time in one of the most beautiful areas in Ireland.

Ideally I'm looking for one or two people who will help around the house with daily chores and also some maintenance for example painting. I would like volunteers to take turns to cook and to help daily in improving and expanding the garden. I need wood chopped and pallet drying sheds built. I would expect volunteers to help for four hours a day.

There are also times in the year when I am away and would be looking for volunteers to animal/house sit. As I may not be available to work with you every day I would welcome people travelling in pairs. to keep each other company. I will have bikes available for you to explore the Killarney valley.
