I currently live at home with 3 adorable children, 2 boys and a girl. We are a fun, loving and very welcoming brunch. We have running water, electricity and internet service at home. We eat Cameroon stable foods and continental dishes as well. But we also respect any dietary restrictions our guest might have.
The organization's mission is to empower women and girls in Cameroon through the manufacture and distribution of Eco-friendly and affordable sanitary napkins, education on menstrual hygiene and job creation for low income women. The women working in the manufacture of this life-changing product . We currently have 8 full/paid staff and 11 volunteers who come to assist from universities around the region. We have a driver and two gentlemen who work in the extraction department.
We are looking for volunteers who will stay at home with us and assist in fundraising ( grant research and writing) which will help scale up the production of our product to reach more women and girls in all rural communities across the ten regions of Cameroon and beyond.
We also need someone who will be helping in operations.
And another volunteer to help in marketing management.
Volunteers will stay at home with us in Baffousam which is in the Western region of Cameroon with breathtaking cultures, foods, warm people, landscapes and a whole lot to learn from especially the French language.
Am on a journey to change the world by changing the narrative and misconceptions that people especially in Cameroon and Africa as a whole have about menstration and menstruating women. Join my 🚆 Train and let's make the world a better place.

I'm interested in learning French and Spanish.
We have a beautiful compound with a living room ,3 bedrooms,a kitchen and two inner toilets. This is located in a country site with no noise but much fresh air and loving villagers. We encourage room sharing . For instance if we have two girls at a time, they share and room. That applies to boys/men as well. We do share the inner bathroom. But no worries because we keep it very clean at all times.
I am an American so at home we enjoy western/continental dishes and our different local dishes which are also very delicious. However, we will plan mills based on what our workawayers will desire to eat during their stay with us.
Helpers can visit local sights with the help of our driver using our own car.
He is very versed with the area and all touristic sites in Baffousam and Bamenda where our headquarter is located.
We are not planning to charge any fees however, while we will provide room/board plus ground transportation to and from touristic sites, we expect our workawayers will be able to provide for their personal needs.
We DON'T ask any money from the volunteers but we do need your help. Then if you are able to help us by bringing and / or buying some stuff of course is the most welcome.
Why? Because we also help vulnerable people in our communities. Additionally running a new business is quite difficult.
What we need is probably easier for you than us :) (for the most of this list) :
T-shirts for our workers
Face masks (disposables or washable ones)
Uniforms for our workers (Lap coats or jumpsuits)
Work boats for our banana stem extractors.
Well anything you want in adequacy with a group of women working together :)
The journey from the airport to our home by bus is good but more than nine hours. So we prefer to pick up our volunteers from the airport.
DURING THE TIME OFF
During the time of volunteer will have chance to visit some places like;
One of the biggest holiday village in Africa –
• Women and girls in communities
• The miracle of Bangou
• The famous Bamum Fon’s palace and much more
Acceso a Internet

We have good Wi-Fi network at home because I use the internet alot for meetings and trainings. Our guest will be free to use it as well.
We can accept workawayers with pets but not cats because my son is just super scared of cats.
