Share family life and help with gardening and DIY projects in Lindenberg, Germany

Dear travelers, we are a small family (Dominik (36), Simone (34), Samuel (8) and Anna (3) and our cat Mike) from the beautiful Allgäu in Bavaria (near Austria). We are very adventurous and always curious to get to know new countries and people. We would be very happy to host you for a few weeks with us and thus expand our horizons. We have a house with a rather large garden as well as a granny apartment with private bathroom, which would be at your disposal for the time of your stay. We're mainly interested in getting help in the garden, plus there are two construction projects going on in our family right now where handy people are also welcome to help out.

We are very interested in foreign countries, people and cultures, and speak besides German also English, as well as some French, Spanish, and a little bit of Italian and Turkish (although this is already very dusty). The Allgäu is a great region to get to know the mountains and the foothills of the Alps.

Ayuda
The focus is on gardening, so it would be ideal if you had experience trimming trees and hedges, are physically fit, and can really get on with projects in the garden.
Anyone who would like to help out on the construction is also very welcome. Since we come from a family of craftsmen, there are always people around who can guide you, provided you're not afraid to lend a hand.
Also, our kids are always happy to have new playmates at Uno or Duplo or someone to look at a book with.

Alojamiento
We have a granny apartment with its own bathroom (no kitchen) where the Travelers would stay. We would be happy to eat together from time to time, however, during the week we are away during the day (the children in school and kindergarten, where they also have lunch).

Our place of residence is rather small (12,000 inhabitants), but there are all stores for daily needs, some nice pubs, buses that also go to Lake Constance in Lindau, for example, as well as a small lake where you can swim or skate. Our region is super for outdoor lovers, great for hiking, going to the mountains, doing winter sports.
It is important for us that you are reliable, non-smoker and fond of children.
