  We are a private language center located in in Bucovice (30 km from Brno - 2nd largest city in the Czech Republic). We are looking for volunteers to teach English or other languages. If you have experience teaching English, or you enjoy helping foreigners speak English, we would love to welcome you to our lovely town.
  We can offer you: your own room in an apartment in Bucovice, fully equipped with all amenities - fully equipped kitchen, fridge, washing machine, tv, high speed internet.
  An hourly wage can be disscussed based on the length of your stay and position. We accept people who would like to get some skills in teaching and learn from us as volunteers and people for paid positions as well.
  We have clean and modern classrooms with libraries and teaching materials. The classrooms and the apartment are located close to a shopping area and public transportation.

  The town of Bucovice is situated 30 km from the 2nd largest city in the Czech Republic. There is a very convenient connection to the city of Brno. Trains or buses take around 30 minutes to get there. Bucovice is located in the countryside. The town of Slavkov u Brna is situated 10 kilometres for Bucovice. Slavkov (Austrelitz) is famous for the Napoleon battle.
  You would live in a small apartment close to the language center (10 minutes by walk). The city has got around 6 000 inhabitants. You can ride a bike around, which we can provide a bike for you. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, lot of pubs and people who enjoy speaking English. The wine district of South Moravia is very close.
  There is a big community of foreigners in Brno. It is a very safe and calm place. Great for immersing yourself in the Czech culture.

  The teacher teaches in local classrooms. We have 2 classrooms in Bucovice and a third one that is located in a close town, in Slavkov u Brna (Austerlitz-Napoleon´s battle field). It is very easy to get there by bus or train in 10 minutes.
  There are 18 weeks in each semester. The fall semester starts in the middle of September and finishes in the middle of February. (There are Christmas holidays for three weeks)
  Then the second semester starts in the middle of February and lasts to the end of June. The lessons usually start around 1pm and finish around 7.30pm. Sometimes there are also morning lessons. We teach from Monday till Friday each week.
  We teach pre-school classes, elementary school classes, high school classes, individual classes and evening groups for adults. We teach English, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian and other languages.
  If you come for the Summer English camp, we will appreciate help with preparation. Every year has got different activities so there is plenty of preparation. The summer camp takes place in the first and second week of July, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.
  The instructors are paid by the hours they worked; the hourly rate is usually the minimum wage in the Czech Republic or higher.
