Volunteer needed from 15.4 - 21.4.
I am Daniela and I fall in love in the beautiful nature of San Luis, Antioquia. I have found a peaceful place close to the village where I live with my cats.
Who am I looking for?
I am looking for a clean and responsible volunteer who will take care of my cats and house while I am traveling. It's necessary that you love cats and have experience with them. One of my cats needs a special diet and need to be fed 3 times a day. I can accept a single person or a couple. Speaking spanish is needed as I dont live direct in the town.
A bit more about me:
I am a very creative human being. I make candles, soaps, natural cosmetics, household cleaners, wine, vinegar, bread, kombucha, sprouts, etc. My kitchen is at the same time my laboratory, and normally you will find me there. I am interested in healthy living style, medicinal plants and I love animals. I am a language teacher.
About my cats:
I have 4 cats, they sleep inside the house, but go outside whenever they want. They all like to cuddle and sometimes to play.
About my place:
I live in a house out of the town, 45 minutes walk (4 km) to the town. You can pay Tuktuk or Motorbike taxi as well. I offer accommodation in a private room with bathroom. I will provide you clean sheets, blankets, pillow and towel. You can use the kitchen and common areas. 10 Minutes walk from my house, you can enjoy swimming in the swimmimg hole (charco).
The place here is simply beautiful. You can relax, enjoy nature, and experience the farm life in the countryside.
About San Luis:
San Luis is located around 3 Hours from Medellín and 6 Hours from Bogotá on the main road between these two cities. I live 1000 meters above sea level; the average temperature here is 28°C. The whole area is very natural and rich in water. There are many waterfalls, natural swimming holes and natural hikes. In the town, there are a few good restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and vegetable stores. Close to the town are the Natural reserve Rio Claro, Hacienda Napoles and River Semaná known for rafting and kayaking.

You can experience the farm life in the countryside, you can learn about local plants and nature. I live in area rich in water, so you can swim in many waterholes around. The nearest one is a 15-minute walk from my house.
You can practice languages. I speak Spanish, English, German and Czech.
The town is known for panela making.
