  My name is Recep. After a career as a finance executive, I now work as an independent consultant. I live alone with my lovely mixed-breed dog in Istanbul, in a house surrounded by a big, beautiful garden.
  
  I am enthusiastic about a self-sustainable and active lifestyle. I love growing my own vegetables, maintaining the garden, and spending time on simple woodworking projects in my free time. I also enjoy long-distance hiking and outdoor activities.
  
  I value a structured, peaceful, and clean living environment. For me, hosting is about true cultural exchange. I love meeting open-minded travelers, sharing meals, and exchanging stories from different cultures.

  Our property is a large villa located away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded city center, offering a rare glimpse into the peaceful, traditional village life of Istanbul. This is a hidden gem and a very unique experience that even most locals don't get to witness, and we feel incredibly lucky to live here.
  
  Despite the serene location, you will have plenty of free time to explore the historic and beautiful city of Istanbul. It is the perfect balance between experiencing tranquil nature and discovering a vibrant metropolis!

  House Cleaning & Chores: Assisting with daily household tasks, keeping the common areas tidy, and helping with general cleaning to maintain a neat and organized home.
  
  Cooking & Meal Prep: Helping out in the kitchen! We love sharing meals, so we expect you to assist with cooking, preparing food, or sharing some recipes from your own culture.
  
  General Maintenance & DIY: If you are handy, we need help with simple repair works, small renovations, or simple DIY/woodworking projects around the house and garden.
  
  Language Practice with Our Child: Engaging with our child through fun activities, games, and daily conversations to help them practice and improve their foreign language skills.
  
  Gardening: Helping with garden maintenance, which includes watering plants, weeding, and keeping our large outdoor space beautiful and tidy.

  We have a fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection throughout the house and the garden, so digital nomads are more than welcome! You can easily work online, take video calls, or manage your projects here. There is a comfortable and quiet desk setup inside the house that you can use, or you can choose to work from the seating areas in our spacious garden during nice weather.
