  We are a homeschooling family of 4 (plus one adorable cat) and live by the sea in a bright, large and beautiful home.
  Our son is 5, and daughter is 18 months.
  We both work from home while also homeschooling our son and we are looking for someone who loves children and enjoys light house work to help us with childcare and cleaning upkeep.
  We value health and high quality local foods and ability to prepare food would be nice but not totally necessary.

  You will learn what it’s like to live among a loving, down to earth homeschooling family. The Husband is a musician and the wife is a healer. Our children love people, love to be read to, our son loves to cook and bake..
  You will experience local, ancestral foods (we pick up our milk and butter from an Amish farm each week, our neighbour raises his own chickens and cattle for food and eggs - real cultural experiences will be woven into your daily life). If English is your second language this will be an opportunity to strengthen your English and we are also open to our children learning Spanish and/or French.

  Ayuda

  Your schedule will be flexible and will include a mixture of childcare (a few hours in the morning, afternoon or occasionally in the evening).
  We have an awesome playroom for the kids for rainy days but would love for you to take them outside as well.
  
  House work will include things like:
  laundry (folding and putting away),
  tidying the house (the kitchen and children’s area), organizing closets, kitchen cupboards, children’s toys etc.

  We spend time in Central America during the winters and would love our children to have exposure to Spanish! Being Canadian having them have exposure to French would also be awesome! Jane speaks both (beginner to intermediate level)!

  Alojamiento

  Our home is large, bright and beautiful and we keep it very clean.
  
  The layout is such that you will have your own private section of the house with your own bathroom and bedroom with double bed (our offices are in that area but we will be able to coordinate around your schedule)
  
  We live in a rural area next to a private beach, ocean views and walking trails through the woods and PEI famous red dirt roads but, are only 15 minutes drive from Charlottetown and you will have access to a car or we can drive you to the bus when possible.
  
  We are happy to share our meals with you but you are also more than welcome to prepare your own (especially breakfast and lunch).

  You are a good fit if you are tidy, independent, self-directed, love children and cleaning.
  
  Prince Edward Island is an incredible place to explore and we are pretty centrally located.
  
  There is possibility to come with us to Central America this winter for a 6-8 week trip to the tropics as well (details to be confirmed).
